Levinie woke up from her bed to hear Micah knocking on the door.
"Come in, the doors unlocked" I say while still half asleep. Micah comes in already dressed in casual but fancy clothes.
"So are you going to sleep all day or will you come for breakfast?" Micah says cheerfully.
"Okay, give me ten minutes and I'll be out." Micah leaves to give me privacy and then I take a quick shower, cleaning myself for the first time in a while.
I put on my reaping clothes that seem to have been washed and folded and then I come to the dining table.
We eat richly, I can't stop eating the grapes and strawberries in a bowl because I have only had a strawberry once and the grapes were so delicious.
Shortly after breakfast, Crays lectures us about manners and how we are meant to act in the Capitol,
After we are done we see the Capitol in person, the grandeur of it all shocks me as I find it so beautiful yet terrifing.
We exit the train with Crays leading us to the building where I will meet my stylist.
Therasia follows behind me and Micah as we put on our smiles and wave to the audience of Capitol citizens.
The Capitol has odd fashion though, and is hard not to stare. I see people with dyed hairs in ridiculous styles, dresses and suits of all colors and materials.
Just the tattoos on some people are intimidating, some even have their entire body dyed.
We get in a car that takes us underground to our destination.
First I meet my prep team that have equally weird fashion that I saw in the streets.
They strip me down and scrub the dirt from me. They pluck hairs and make me feel like my skin and hair will fall off. Then they leave as fast as they started and then my stylist walks in.
Her name was Tigris something, her last name was never said. " Hello, miss Levinie. I am here to make you beautiful." Tigris has long blond hair and she has eyes that shine with happiness.
Tigris explains to Levinie how she will dress her up and then they will be taken to the tribute parade. Where Levinie and the other tributes will be marketed to the Capitol for the first time.
Tigris put Levinie in a dress, no, costume is a better word, Levenie thought.
The costume looked like wires and a circuit board but in a fashionable way. Atleast fashionable for the Capitol.
Levinie meets with Micah in a similar but more masculine costume. They go to the third carriage.
They watch as the other tributes enter as they were the first ones except for one and two.
They stay at their chariots and so does everyone else.
They are positioned onto their chariots and then the show begins.
