Okay I'm starting to get bored now. Will said he was busy, moms not here yet. Hotels are supposed to be fun, but I have nothing to do rather than wait.
Wait until tomorrow. The day that I will meet my idol, my love, my rock.
Oh I can't wait.
I look around the hotel room and see if there is anything that could entertain me besides my phone, but there is nothing here besides a landline and a tv remote. I turn on the tv for background noise and give in, turning my phone on.
After twenty minutes of scrolling through Instagram, my mom finally came back into the room with a tray of food for her. There is quite a bit there though, so I assume she got some for me too. I don't want to eat it.
Her smile is exceptionally large, and the sway in her step is a bit more prominent.
"Did something happen out there?" I ask with an eyebrow raised. "You look awfully happy. Did you meet a guy??" I question, wiggling my eyebrows.
"Something like that." She answers with a giggle.
"Well, can we go do something? Like go to the pool or play hide and seek thought the whole hotel?" I ask a bit hopeful. "I'm bored and we don't have to be at the theatre until noon tomorrow."
"No, honey. Let's just stay in?"
"Fine, but there is nothing good on the tv unless you wanna go back down to the lobby and rent a movie."
"I'm sure we'll think of something." Mom smiles and lays down on the bed, keeping her phone close to her. She takes out one of the food boxes and pulls out mozzarella sticks and the red sauce to dip them in.
Right as she is about to take a bite, I have to look away. She is putting so many calories into her body, how could she not be worried?
"Would you get that honey?"
I look at her, puzzled. "Get what?"
"There was a knock at the door." She grins. "Probably just room service or something."
I shrug and make my way towards the door.
Lord, I was not prepared for this.
