Reid walked off the elevator.
"Hey spence". J.J. said walking out of her office. He looked up at her. "JJ, who's your contact at the D. C. Police?" He asked as he walked. "Uh, victor Barnes. Why?You need me to call him?" She asked trailing behind him as her blond hair sways side to side as she walked. Reid grabbed the nearest phone to him as he entered the bullpen. "Hi. Detective barnes, please." Reid asked down the phone looking up seeing Gideon walking over. "What's wrong?" His mentor asked concerned by his rushed behaviour. "Need to get that to everyone as soon as possible." Reid said urgently. "Uh, hi. Detective barnes, this is special agent dr. Spencer reid at the behavioral analysis unit at Quantico.Have you had any recent murders involving prostitutes, maybe just jane does? They would have been stabbed to death, and their hair would've been cut off by the k*ller." He asked the other guy on the phone as J.J. and Gideon listen to Reid even more worried when Gideon looked down at Reid's notepad to see a sketch of some person.  "When was the most recent victim?I'll explain when I see you. I'll meet you in a half-hour." He said hanging up the phone.
"What's going on?" Gideon asked.
Reid looked at him and the to J.J.. "D. C. May have a serial k*ller.I think I just let him get away."

(Emily's apartment)
The last few days have been rough, the headaches, dizziness and nausea. Luckily they hadn't had any high profile cases just some small ones here and there it was mainly paperwork catching ups. So when she was packing her chicken salad for her lunch she jumped dropping it when her phone buzzed she looked down at the phone on the counter it read " emergency case come in urgent." she shoved her lunch in her bag and grabbed her bags and headed for the door.

They didn't waist anytime the briefing went quick. They were all assigned a task and Emily was partnered up with Derek who she'd yet work on the field with. In the office her and him got on quite well considering she never really shared much about herself.

(The Dc streets crime scene alleyway)
Morgan and Emily made their way through the alleyway stopping two work girls lingering in a door way. They were lucky when the two girls agreed to talk so Morgan took the blond girl and Emily took the brunette who was a little shy when Morgan tried to talk to her. "At night, no one can see down there. During the day, you just duck behind the dumpster or into a doorway." She said strutting in heels that looked like they would kill anyone's feet who wore them , As they headed back to where Emily and her friend were talking. "Business is pretty heavy here in the mornings?" Emily asked. The brunette girl looked Emily up and down inside whether or not she can be trusted. "How do I know you're not just lookin' to crack down on us?" She questions. "Because I'm telling you. We're here trying to protect you" Emily siad softly trying to gain the woman's trust, looking over her shoulder seeing both Morgan and the other friend walking back towards them. "A lot of johns from the hill stop by on their way to work." The brunette said looking relieved that her friend was back. "We always say the same politicians yellin' about cleanin' up the hill, the ones droppin' 50 bucks with us before they make the speech." The blond woman said crossing her arm over her chest and looking behind her as she spoke. "It's true, and the more important they think they are, the quicker they accidentally finish up with us. It's weird like that." The brunette said as Derek began looking at the blood he found on the bin bag and concrete as they talked. Emily made a face like she's not surprised at the girls comments trying to relate to them more. "No, that's pretty much universal." She agreed. Morgan finished looking and scoffed at Emily comment shocked and pulled Reid's drawing out of his pocket. "You recognize him at all?" He asked. Both girls looked at the drawing and nodded. "I don't know his name or nothin'.He hangs around, tries to pretend like he's not watching us. He's just a horny kid, you know." The bolder blond woman said again looking behind her. "You didn't see him talking to any of the other girls out here?" Derek asked.
"I just figured he's the kind gets his little bit of danger and goes home and takes business into his own hands.
Is he the one who did this?" The brunette asked.
"We don't know, but someone did, so you need to be careful." Emily said truthfully now looking behind her shoulder as a siren passed by. "We stick to the daylight and only work the high-end blocks." The blond said getting closer to her friend. Emily looked at the younger one and smiled. "How old are you?" She asked concerned. "21." The brunette siad unconvincingly. Emily roses her brows. "19" she finally admits looking down to the floor. Emily sighed. "Just watch out for each other, ok?" Emily said nodding putting her hands in her pockets as both girls nodded back. She turned on her heals and walked to Morgan who was now a few feet away from her moving a falling strand of hair out her face.

The ride back to the office was quite for Derek, to his surprise once they got back into the car it took Emily less than three minutes to drift off into a sleep. He listened to her little breaths as she breathed in and out. Not snoring but just enough to make him chuckle quietly to himself as he drove them.

Derek parked the car into the on-site parking garage under the main building. He turned the key in the ignition off. And unbuckled. He looked at Emily he felt guilty that he was going to have to wake them up. He gently nudged her shoulder. She stirred just a bit her eyes rolling behind her eye Linda as she woke.
"Oh, shit I'm sorry!" She cried scouting into a up right position. He smiled at her. "Late night last night?" He joked. She scoffed leaning down to grab her bag. "Something like that" she joked smiling and rising one eye brow.

As she walked into the office and back to her desk she was tapped on the shoulder. It was karen Stayer. They hugged and went to catchup on things. Little did Emily know Arron was watching from his office window He had a gut feeling since Emily started she was her for something. He looked back at the files of hers on his desk wondering.
