Performance

Acacia's POV

"Same bed but it feels just a little bit bigger now

Our song on the radio but it don't sound the same" I sang.

Me and Niall were just practicing one last time backstage while another pair was performing. As we heard the cheering and clapping fade away. My heart started to beat faster. In less than a minute me and Niall were about to sing a love song.together.in front if God knows how many people. Was Niall as terrified as I was ? Well I shouldn't be THAT worried. I am a decent singer. Niall is absolutely perfect so he shouldn't be worried one bit.

A stage director comes storming in looking serious and all. He lead Niall and I to the stage. As the lights went off, my heart beat became louder. I wonder if the audience could hear it? Yup. It was that loud.

Before I stepped on stage, a hand grabbed mine...

Naill's POV

We were directed to the stage. The lights went completely off. Before acacia could go anywhere, I grabbed her hand. Should I tell her about my feelings for her ? Maybe at the after party. Anyway, I just wanted to tell her good luck.

"Hey" I said. Acacia replied "hey. Um what's wrong?" "Just wanted to wish you good luck" I whispered. "Thanks and good luck to you too" she responded with a wink. When she turned around I could feel the blush creeping on.

Acacia POV

We stepped on stage. Trying not to make any noise so we could get into place. Niall followed shortly behind me. We took our places. The back up dancers were already in there places.i waved to one of them. 1) cause she's my bestest friend ever 2) well um that's the only reason. But, my best friends name is Kendall. She's really pretty. Short She's like 5.0 and I'm 5.9. Anyway, I still love her! As the instrumentals for our song flooded the studio, I smiled to myself and took a small breath and then began.

"Same bed but it feels just a little bit bigger now

"When our friends talk about you, all it does is just tear me down

Cause my heart breaks a little when I hear your name" Niall sang.

"It all just sounds like oooooh...

Mmm, too young, too dumb to realize

That I should have bought you flowers

Should have gave you all my hours

When I had the chance

Take you to every party

Cause all you wanted to do was dance

Now my baby's dancing

But she's dancing with another man" we sang in sync together.

Soon our song ended. The crowd cheered and clapped. I glanced at Niall who was starring at me. I smiled at him. He sent it back.

{ sorry such a short chapter. It was supposed to be just their performance so that's why I made the chapter the performance. Ya so love you all }
