𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐄 glanced out the car window, trees wizzing past as her sister drove, the rain pattering against the cars windows. The ride to Forks high school was always like this. Silent. Well, for Amelie anyways. When you have a disability that keeps you from having the sense of hearing, everything is silent. But the car ride itself was usually silent. No mind link communications, no sign language, just, silence. Comfortableness.
Amelie glanced over at her coven sister, Zoe, and her gaze traveled over the blondes expression. She seemed...troubled. But why? So, Amelie waved her hand a bit, catching Zoe's attention whom looked at her through her peripheral vision.
'Why do you look so troubled, dear sister?' Zoe's brows furrowed at Amelie's question, to which she shrugged. As she parked into their usual spot of the schools lot, she turned to face Amelie, signing back. 'The new students, the ones that arrived yesterday?' Amelie nodded, urging Zoe to go on. 'They're not human, as would probably be suspected. Although, they aren't witches. They're vampires. We need to be careful, our kind haven't always had the best history with their kind' and with that, the conversation ended. The two hopped out of the vehicle, and the sound of cars approaching caught many people's attention. Well, except Amelie's.
Zoe put a hand on Amelie's arm, holding her in place which caused confusion to fall over the girl. She glanced around the lot, finally seeing the cars that contained the undeniably gorgeous creatures inside of them.
And, as the cars parked, out stepped the vampires that, unbeknownst to the coven of witches, would enter their life in just a matter of a few weeks.
Amelie glanced over their faces, firstly noticing a short, brunette girl, about her height, with a pixie like demeanor. She seemed sweet. Then, next to her, was a blonde man, with a very painful expression. Many might wonder why, only two outside of the group understanding. Then, her eyes wondered over to another blonde woman. She wondered if instead of a vampire, she was some type of goddess. Thats how beautiful she was. She practically had all of the boys (and some girls) drooling already! Then her eyes hit another brunette, but this time it was a boy. A bit burly, and tall too. He seemed like an intimidating man, but you can never judge a book by it's cover.
And then, there was him. There was the bronze boy that, unbeknownst to Amelie and he himself, had already captivated the girls heart. Not that it was something she'd admit, especially to her sister. The boys gaze came to rest on Anelie's features, and a small smile spread.
It seemed as if, they were one. A strong force was felt in their chests, almost urging them together. However, the moment quickly dispersed when Zoe grabbed her arm, dragging her inside the school to get headed to class.
