Story Brooke
Renata was driving her nephew to school all throughout the drive he was reading that same story book she had seen the few nights ago. Granted he was a kid naturally he would be absorbed in such tales but she couldn't help observe how this mere book seemed to make him happy.
When they arrived at school , she walked in with Henry the school dropping him by his classroom.
"Bye aunt Rene."
She waved at her nephew , "bye Hen."
"Ms. Mills " the teacher noticed her presence and came to greet her.
"Ms. Mills is the mayor you can call me Rene." Renata didn't like it when people addresses her so formally unless it was at the office instead.
"Of course." Mary Magarete smiled , "is there anything I can do for you?"
"I noticed you gave Henry some story book and I just wanted to say thank you."
"Thank you?"
"Well he seems to really enjoy it. Honestly I don't think I've seen him take his eyes off it ."
"He's a good kid he just seems lonely."
"I know." Renata murmured under her breath.
She loved her nephew . He was the only person Regina seemed to geniuely love in this world.
She then looked at her wrist watch,"Well the mayor's office ever needs me. Again thank you very much."
"Of course."Mary Margaret watched the mayor's younger sister walk off and smiled. Renata Mills seemed much more easier to get along with than the mayor it was surprising to believe they were sisters.
Renata was about to leave the school when a Dodge ball came out of no way startling her in the process ,"the heck!"she held her chest that was constricting.
"Sorry. Dodge ball practice ." A tall man with brown hair and hazel eyes dressed in gym clothes . He was very gorgeous and sexy.
He must have noticed her checking him out because he grinned , "are you a sub or something ?"
Renata snapped out of her drooling , "Pardon?"
He merely laughed putting the ball under his arm , "I asked if you're a substitute teacher. I don't think I've seen you before."
"No I'm not a teacher let alone a substitute."
"Makes sense. You're too formally dressed for a sub or teacher in general."
Renata scoffed , "well when you work for the mayor casual attire isn't really an option."
He laughed and extended his hand for greeting , "Stefan Campbell. Gym teacher ."
She accepted his hand shaking it firmly , "Renata Mills."
"Mills? Like Mayor Mills and Henry?"
"Sister and aunt actually." She was expecting him to look at her warily Or with contempt and spite - it was no secret alot of the residents of Story Brooke hated her sister the mayor of the town.
The gym teacher didn't seem to
react much as she had anticipated .
"Renata huh?" The man smiled at her .
"What?" She glared at him not understanding the teasing.
"No. It's just your name sounds a little ...." He grinned , "old fashion per say. Exotic . Spanish Even?"
