Stef's talking:

Today was going to be a great day. All seven of us were going camping. Away from stress, people, and our phones. We would only have each other. Lena and I really needed some alone time. We couldn't connect these last couple months and I miss my wife a lot. We haven't cuddled, had sex, nothing. I was looking forward to having fun with my family. It was a much needed thing. I was packing and Lena came in:

"Honey, what are you all taking?"
Everything, (winks)
"Ok, I can't wait to get away with you, I hope we have an ok time? I wish we could connect."

Did she just say what I thought she said? She never talks to me about us. She usually keeps everything bottled in. It makes me upset but that's how she is.

Oh honey, I know. I'm sorry. It's kinda my fault that we can't connect. We've been so busy lately and I know that's not an excuse.

"Love, it's not your fault. It both of ours."
It's ok, we will get back on that this weekend, right?

Lena's talking:

Stef and I haven't been connecting lately and I mentioned it to her today. Which surprised her because I never say anything to her about us. Unless it's good stuff. But we were going to be ok after this weekend because I was going to make sure of it.

I went down into the kitchen and started getting the food packed for our little picnic we were going to have with the kids. I was super excited to spend time with my wife and my children.

Stef's talking:

Kids, are you ready??

Marianna: no mama I'm not.
Well, Hun you better hurry!
Callie: I'm pretty much ready.
Oh good.
Jude: I'm always ready!
That's why you're our favorite!
Brandon: I'm all ready.
That's good!
Jesus: I think I'm ready?
You better be!

I had something planned for Lena and I, that no one knew about. I kept it a secret from the kids because I figured one of them would tell her. I knew Lena was going to love it. I made sure I bought the most expansive wine out there. But it was totally worth it. We were going to enjoy something special together.

We got everything gathered in the car and left. I was super ready for this weekend.

Lena's talking:

I loved watching Stef drive. She was so beautiful how she payed attention. I wanted kiss her so bad but I couldn't, which made me very upset. We finally arrived at the camp site and started unpacking all of our stuff. The kids got all of their stuff out of the car and then Stef and I started getting our things out. Stef was acting so weird, like she had something planned? But I didn't question I just went with the flow.

The kids and I got the tents set up and started the picnic food on the fire. We had hot dogs and chips. It was really nice. Stef was still being really weird with me.

Stef's talking:

I was almost ready to take Lena in our little date.

Hey honey, I want to go on a walk with you.
"Ok darling, just give me a minute to finish cleaning up."

I was so excited to see Lena reaction. I had everything set up for us.

We walked up the hill, holding hands, we sat down in our chairs. She looked over at me and said something I never thought she would say.

"Honey, you're the best wife I could ever ask for. I love you more than words can explain. Please kiss me now.

So I did what she asked for. I kissed her passionately. I kissed her so hard, harder than I've ever kissed her before. Lena was my everything and I made sure I made that quite clear to her.

The kids came and found us. It didn't bother me. We never got embarrassed, about them coming in on us. After all love is love and they will eventually discover that. Lena and I truly didn't care. When they came in, we usually we only making out, so it didn't matter. Yes, my tongue was down my wife's throat but it didn't matter.

We were just watching the sunset, kissing here and there. I loved her.

Lena's talking:

Man, my wife knows what I like. She treats me like a queen, like I'm on top of the world. Once the sunset went down. We went back to our tent and cuddled for a very long time. I don't remember sleeping because I was to busy looking at how beautiful the women was in front of me. We did some other things but it was nice to finally feel connected with her.

An: I'm so sorry I have taken forever to update. I have busy and honestly forgot about writing this chapter. I would love to have six more good words. Make them really good.

What do you think about The Fosters? I love how much Rita is coming on in the show. Stef & Lena are going to be ok. Us being fans, we have to grow through their problems with them.
