Ch 47:- Cousins

"Cause Kang Y/n, you aren't a Kang to be honest..." Yuseok said nonchalantly as you stared at him in confusion. "Huh??" "You aren't my daughter... You are your mother's cousin sister's offspring... Your real name was Song Jangmi. But your real parents, they eloped, leaving you at your mother's care..."

You stared at him blankly as he watched, a smirk slowly curling on his lips, knowing each and every word he says is slowly unraveling a smaller part of your dark, fucked up history and he was living it every minute.

"Yuri was a kind soul, she took you in, gave you love like a own daughter. I loved you too, until... You became the reason your brother died..." You stared at him blankly as he scoffed, "That day, you made your mom run around you a lot, some complications and a miscarriage... Since that day I hated you, I never wanted you. I stopped seeing you as my daughter but rather a witch who came to take everything away from me.. and you also became the reason I killed my own wife..."

Each word cut you deeper and deeper, a wound which you doubt would even heal. His words were sharp and it hurts so bad that you wished, you could forget it all. "But I don't regret an ounce. She would always protect you, defend you, more than she could defend me and you became a third wheel in our relationship... And so I killed her and was gonna kill you but... Nora saved you..."

He chuckled and gasped, excitement shining in his eyes as he stared at you, "But do you know, she is dead too..." Your eyes widened at the news that just broke out. Yuseok smirked and turned to the screen as he switched the view from one scene to another and that scene had your blood run cold.

Cause there laid Nora in her own pool of blood, eyes open, the life taken out of her. "Nora..." You whispered as words stuck in between your throat. "You see that Jangmi... That's how your man is gonna end up too... Lifeless, in his own pool of blood..." He turned around you and stood behind your chair. Leaning closer, his hot breath tickled against your neck as he whispered, " If you think you will live a perfect happy life after ruining mine... You are fucking wrong!"

In no time, the goons retreated as the sirens were heard. I stood there, amongst a pool of people as I turned behind to see the cop cars park in front of my gate. Soon enough, the door opened as a lady stepped out.

She wore high heels, wide trousers and a strap top. She looked like a model more than a lawyer. Yes, she was a lawyer, my legal advisor yet also my one and only cousin, Park Ella.

"Good to see you after a long time, Mr. Jeon" Ella walked towards me as she removed her sunglasses before running her hand through her hair. She is the epitome of elegance with slyness. Every part of her scream elegance, The way she walked, her talk, the way she smiled and overall, yet the closest ones knew the inner demons. How do you think I didn't get in trouble for stalking? Cause my dear sister who is a full on legal lawyer in the day time turns into a predator, a sly stalker with illegal ways to keep her lover away from trouble in the night time.

"Indeed it is, Miss Park. Heard about your victory on the 8Glass case" Ella smiled as she shrugged, "Victory and perfection.. doesn't it run in our blood dear brother..." I smirked at her words as I slowly gestured towards my mansion. She smiled and nodded before walking with me.

We both sat down on the couch as I asked her about the case she just won. The 8Glass case was a brutal case where a man was found with 8 glass pieces on several parts of his body, his limbs broken off and thrown in different directions. The visuals were quite disturbing and it was a really scary case as the defendant was from a very wealthy family of South Korea but Ella, being the smart, cunning fox she is, brought the defendant down in no time and gave him a 35 years life imprisonment sentence.

"So why was a sudden attack on your house?" Ella asked, leaning against the couch and staring at me as I sighed and looked at her, "Idk.. Well my wife is missing tho.." I mumbled and looked down. I could feel Ella's frown, "Wife?" I nodded, "Kang Y/n... The girl I stalked for 3 years..." Ella gasped and nodded before frowning, "Her dad was a convict for her mother's murder case.. but do you know he is out of prison now?" I frowned as Ella's words slowly clicked in..
