Avyana's POV. — right after chapter 25
"Avy!" Milo shouts but is immediately injected with some sort of drug, causing him to fall asleep.
Derek sucks in a sharp breath, "Ooh, I'm going to have so—so much fun with you."
I scoff, "Yeah, fucking Torture me, you pussy—"
"Now I know why my father fucked you so much—because then all you do is scream!" He shouts, cutting me off, spit flying in my face and laughing like a fucking madman.
He suddenly uses a pocket knife to cut the ropes, tying my hands together and pulling them out in front of me.
"I see you still have scars here," He laughs deviously, tracing the self inflicted—and inflicted by Fredrick, scars that lay on my wrists and travel up my forearms, though some are covered by tattoos.
I remain silent, clenching my jaw to keep from cursing him out and angering him further, "How about we add a bit more." and then he's holding the blade of the knife to my forearm, slicing through the skin.
Once,
Twice,
Three times.
Four times,
and he keeps going until I'm dizzy from the blood oozing from my arms.
Then I feel a sharp pain in my thigh, only to see the knife in my thigh.
I suck in a sharp breath when my hands fall limply at my sides, and I feel and hear my blood dripping onto the concrete floor.
"I'll leave you for a bit," He chuckles, his eyes glowing at the sight of my blood—and then he's roughly twisted the blade in my leg and I bite back a scream threatening to tear from my throat.
"Holy fuck!" I exclaim when he's suddenly pulled the blade out of my sweatpants clad thigh, and blood starts bleeding out causing a big red splotch on my pants.
"I'll be back." he says, grinning from ear to ear.
F A M I L Y
"Oh my God." A woman's voice mumbles.
I forcefully open my heavy eyes to see a petit woman—absolutely stunning, with green eyes and long dark blond hair. She looks to be around thirty years old, maybe a bit older.
I groan, rolling my head back. Holy fuck, I think I'm broken.
"Oh, you poor angel," the woman says softly, walking over to me with a white bag. Most likely medical.
"Who the fuck are you?" I mumble in pain, raking my gaze over the woman.
"I'm Marcella, love." She informs me softly, crouching down to my height while I'm sitting down in the chair, and Marcella tucks my hair behind my ear.
"Avyana Moretti." I introduce myself as best I can. I think this blood loss is getting to my head.
"Here, I'm going to get you cleaned up." She whispers, opening her bag to get her cleaning supplies.
Marcella goes to clean my cuts and bruises gently before she asks kindly, "Can I give you a hit of a checkup? ask a few questions, dear?"
I nod, "Yeah." I mumble tiredly, my eyelids heavy.
"Okay—have you been experiencing excessive vomiting?" She softly asks, her voice now sounding professional.
"Yeah." I answer, my voice low.
"Okay, when's the last time you've had your period, love?" She asks, a sad tone to her voice.
"I—" I haven't had my period in months. Oh, sweet mother of God. Holy fuck, this is so very bad.
Tears well up in my eyes, my hearts in my ass when I look up at her.
"Could I be pregnant?" I question, my voice just above a whisper.
"I have no way to confirm, but you might be, Darling." And I'm tied up in a fucking cell, almost bled out in a chair with fucking Milo! I'm a fucking prisoner and I could be pregnant.
"I'm going to fucking die." I murmur under my breath.
"I want to help you. I want to help you get out." She informs me, keeping her voice soft.
"Good fucking luck, Love, cause I've been here before and it's almost fucking impossible—"
"I have a key." She cuts in, dangling a key in my face.
"Well, why didn't you say so?" I ask, a smirk crawling up my face.
