Riley's *POV*

Finally, after not seeing James for two years we bump into each other near my house! Now he's asked me I go to the cinema with him! I can't believe it! Excitement rushed through me in the form of adrenaline.

I'm going to have a lovely relaxing bath... and I'll just get some scented bubble bath and some colourful bath bombs. Once the bath tub was full of warm water, I got into my bubbly bath. As I relaxed, I reached towards the edge of the sink to grab my phone. My hand was slippery from the bubble bath and water. Just then I lost grip of my phone and it quickly sank into the soapy water.

Oh no! How am I going to reply to James now?

I dipped my hand back in the water, grabbed the phone and dragged myself out of the bath. Quickly I smothered my precious Samsung Galaxy Note in a towel. I took out the stylus and battery to dry it. I was almost in tears trying to stop the water from getting in and ruining the phone forever: how on earth would I reply to Janes if the phone was ruined?

James' *POV*

Up in Daniel's bedroom, the walls were covered with Arsenal FC posters and photos of the team. I sat next to his bedside table as I gazed at his gold trophy which had his name engraved on it.

I swiftly turned my head to look at Daniel, I could see his crutches beside his bed.

Even though he had just taken a painkiller, I could still see the pain in his eyes. It was weird to see him like this as he was the most active person on the team.

"How's your knee Skip?" I asked.

"I feel much better but I've been told that I need to have quite a bit of physiotherapy. I'm not sure I'll be ready for the finals though. Why do you keep looking at your phone?"

I kept looking at my phone anxiously wondering if Riley was trying to get through to me. Did she want to go to see a movie with me or not?

Suddenly my phone vibrated, making me jump. I checked the number and recognised that it was the Coach.

Coach: 'Hello James. Can you please pop round to my office quickly? It's urgent!'

I texted back 'Okay'.

I mumbled for a bit and explained to Daniel that I had just received a text from the Coach.

"Sorry I have to go, Jason is waiting for me at his office. I'll catch up with you later."

Daniel nodded as he leaned back on to his pillow.

"Got to run, see you guys later." I said to the other boys and left.

It was already dark outside, I felt a cold breeze rush past me. I pulled up my hood over my head and walked briskly in the direction of the Academy.

200 yards behind James a mysterious dark can turned it's headlights on.

"Quickly put your masks on, in case he sees our faces!" Said one of the occupants of the van in a harsh voice.

They moved off, following James from a distance of about 100 feet; enough not to be noticed, close enough not to loose him.

The kidnappers had planned to capture James just by the bushes at the bus stop where there were no street lights.

Gradually the van accelerated past James and pulled up in front of him. In a moment two masked men jumped out of the rear of the van. One of the men clutched his baseball bat, smashing it over James' head. James grasped on to his head as his body folded up and the two men dragged his unstable body in to the back, slammed the doors and sped off.
