Chapter 10 (M)
✶————✶————✶

Jimin’s heart raced as the world narrowed to just the two of them. The tension in the room was suffocating, crackling like a live wire.

Jungkook stood before him, his presence overwhelming, magnetic. His dark eyes pinned Jimin in place, daring him to speak, to move, to do anything other than crumble under the weight of his gaze.

“This is insane,” Jimin whispered, though his voice lacked conviction.

Jungkook stepped closer, the faint scent of his cologne—spicy and dangerous—filling the air.

He didn’t say a word.

He didn’t have to.

His presence was enough.

More than enough.

“You think you can run from me?” Jungkook asked, his voice low, rough. It wasn’t a question; it was a challenge.

Jimin’s breath hitched as Jungkook closed the distance between them. His broad shoulders blocked out the rest of the room, his chest rising and falling with controlled restraint.

Every inch of him was taut muscle and tension, his tattoos winding down his arm like stories waiting to be told.

Jungkook’s hand rose, his fingertips brushing against Jimin’s jaw. The touch was soft, reverent, a sharp contrast to the intensity in his eyes.

“You can’t,” Jungkook continued, his voice like a velvet caress. “No matter how far you run, no matter how hard you fight, you’ll always end up right here. With me.”

Jimin’s body betrayed him, leaning into the touch even as his mind screamed at him to pull away.

"I hate you," Jimin said suddenly, the words spilling out before he could stop them. His voice cracked, betraying the war raging inside him.

Fury.

Disdain.

Yet the uncontrollable lust covered it all.

Jungkook's expression didn't falter. If anything, his smirk deepened, his eyes glinting with amusement.

"No, you don't," he said softly, his lips brushing against Jimin's temple. "You hate that you can't hate me."

Jimin swallowed hard, his throat tight as he tried to push Jungkook away, but his hands faltered.

"This is wrong," he whispered, his voice trembling. "We're...this..."

"This is inevitable," Jungkook interrupted, his tone firm but not unkind.

He tilted Jimin's chin up, Jungkook couldn't help it, his voice low and dangerous, filled with a quiet confidence that made Jimin's knees weak.
