Deceived by the one I love........

Richard Michaelis P.O.V*January 5, 1966*

     I come home from a long day of hunting. Although I didn't catch anything, I was still quite exhausted. I open the door,and made sure to close and lock the door once I was inside. I go into the kitchen to find my wife, Laura, cooking. She is so gorgeous.long brown locks,emerald green eyes,heart-shaped face.Simply,Beautiful.How did I, out of all people,end up so lucky? To be with such a wonderful woman, living in such a nice house, in such a lovely town. I smile while I think about all the things I have to be happy and grateful about.

  If only everyone in this town can be as appreciative as me."You are absolutely beautiful and I love you and everything you do for me." I tell my wonderful wife while hugging her from behind. "I love you too Richard, forever and always." she said hugging my arms." forever and always." I repeated, kissing her cheek. I then exit the kitchen to the living room to read the novel my lovely wife got me for my birthday.It was "Deceived by the one I loved...." She reassured me that this would never happen to us.Of course I believed her.It was about a man who loved his wife deeply. He soon found out that the marriage was one-sided and well.........I  haven't really  gotten that far in the book yet, but so far, it's quite intriguing.

  Laura has always been by my side. Even when i was extremely poor, she never lost faith in me. Now look at us, we're one of the wealthiest families in town. My love for her is.....unexplainable. 

"Richard dear, I made pastries for dinner, since we didn't  have any meat left. Go wash up and come sit at the table. "Of course, my love." I said with a genuine smile. I couldn't help but smile when it came to my dearest Laura. I sat my interesting novel down and went to do what was asked of me.
