Chapter 6. Differences

3rd person P.O.V

The search party of ponies had been walking for another full day. They had made it to The Crystal Empire, but the bunny continued to float further.

As tempting as it was to find a place to stay in the Empire, Celestia refused to stop again. She needed to find Twilight now, before it was too late.

"I can feel it Luna. She's close, I just know it. We need to keep going." Celestia declared, as she and the group walked further into uncharted territory.

The wind was harsh, and snowfall was making it hard to see, not to mention that the ponies were close to getting frost bite on their hooves.

"Princess.. Maybe it would be best if we turned around and stayed in the Empire. Just for the storm to pass." Starswirl suggested, trotting up to be at her side

Celestia looked down, she wanted nothing more than to find her daughter. She would let the others go back if they so wished, but she couldn't stop. Not now.

"What's that?!" Somepony called out

The whole group looked up ahead. Far in the distance, high on a tall mountain. Was a silhouette of what seemed to be a castle. That HAD to be where Twilight was.

"Come on ponies! We need to save Twilight!"

They all agreed, and pushed on, speeding up to try and get to that castle as fast as possible.

With Twilight, 1st person P.O.V

I sat cold in my cell. I refused to use the blanket that Sombra had given me. I can't give in to any temptation of forgiving him. He is a tyrant! Who wants nothing more than to control all of Equestria and hurt everypony.

He had visited me twice already today. The first time was to bring me food and water. However it was just horribly made scrambled eggs.

And the second time was to apologise again, for hitting me. I payed him no attention and he eventually left. I did feel bad for ignoring him, but I just reminded myself who he is and I moved on.

I heard his hoof steps come down the steps, and I saw the dark stallion appear in the basement. He phased through my cell bars and was right Infront of me. I turned my head to the side, he would leave after a few minutes.

"Twilight, look at me."

He growled, his temper slowly rising. Until he grabbed my muzzle with his hoof and forced me to look in his eyes. He held my face tightly, making me wince. My cheek still hurt from yesterday aswell.

"Why won't you just accept that this is your home now! I own you, you're mine." He snarled, "And no matter how much you deny it. I know you worship me."

He let go of my face, stroking my mane with his hoof. My eyes watered from his touch. I wanted him to go away! Then he leaned in close, with his muzzle right next to my ear.

"After all. You are the one who summoned me back to the mortal realm." He chuckled

Tears fell from my eyes. I had forgotten that. This whole thing was my own fault. Because of my stupid mistake, I had endangered all of Equestria!

Sombra saw how upset I had become. He seemed to feel remorse for a second, but then started cackling. Muttering something about finally breaking me. He summoned mirror using his dark magic, and lowered it Infront of my face.

"Look at you right now. You pathetic little unicorn.. Weeping over your own actions! This is noponies fault but your own. Remember that!" He yelled

Sombra dropped the mirror, letting it shatter on the floor. He rubbed my cheek using his tail of shadows, and then faded into his shadow form and zipped out of the dungeon.
