I stared at him for a while as he still insisted with his facade, I was informed that I was in the hospital due some sort of shock and it's after effects. I barely paid heed to doctors whenever they gave me a meticulous diagnosis due to the fact that I despises doctors and hospitals. They kept on reminding me of my past and how the hospital my second obnoxious home.

My brows furrowed as I attempted to shake his body awake, I took on intent stare at him again and looked away.
This handsome devil might lead me to hell one day and I might act blind to the fire that will be burning me.

He slightly moved his head and punched his injured shoulder resulting in him groaning in pain.

"Are you stupid?" I harshly questioned him.

He covered the injured arm with his other hand and softly smiled at me,"I just started recovery yet you are already abusing me." He exclaimed. He sat up straight and blink twice.

I narrowed my eyes at him as I went closer to his bed, "How could you take a bullet for me?"

He put on that idiotic smile of his thinking it could sway me but I was filled with burtd of fury burning deep within my veins but he couldn't notice any of that because of how oblivious he was.

I shot at him one of my deadliest glares as he cleared his throat nervously, "I had to take a bullet for you but did you notice that it was slightly parallel to my forearm meaning that I'm not that hurt. It just slid past my arm and left a scar that slightly looks like yours."

I sneered as he pointed at my neck, "See, your neck where you were injured as a child."

Is it me or was the medication he was given really knocking him out.

I shoved his hand away as he pouted, "Stop with your silly statements London, don't you ever try to defend me ever again."

He looked behavingly at me as he attentively listened to every word I uttered.

"I abhor people who meddle in orhe people's business, I had everything under control and if she was to kill me then I was to die."

He frowned, "What do you mean Wifey?"

"I figured that maybe if she was to shoot me, then I was to die then everyone would live their lives as peaceful as can be."

He went silent for what seems like forever, I even considered leaving him to lie on his soon to be death bed.

His face showed no emotions and I knew what I had said had a huge impact on him but since I couldn't care less I stood up and he didn't take one look at me. I felt the tension between us as I waited for him to look at me but he kept staring at the wall further from him. I assumed that he must have been scolding himself mentally.

I let out a deep exhale and internally felt irritated, maybe he didn't love me as he claimed to have. It was all a ploy to get me to reveal why I had hidden.

I turned and my back faced him, I gradually walked and came close to the door. I twisted the doorknob when he finally broke the silence.

"Why are you so oblivious?"

I turned my back, no one had ever called me oblivious other than my father. He was really turning out to be a spawn sent by my father.
