It doesn't float...

Ok so me and my friend were both swimming at the lake at my trailer and we're inside this floaty water thing.
These two kids come in with us
I'm freaking out cause they kept screaming and jumping up and down all over the floaty thing
They were quite annoying so I wanted them to leave because they were taking up all the room
So.
They have this little fish toy
MIGHT I ADD

Sooooooo
I turn to my friend who looks like she's about to try to drown herself so she doesn't have to listen to the two brats again
I tell my friend
"Duuuudddeeee, let's steal that fish from them."
She looked at me and was like
"But why.?"
Then I said
"Cause then they'll have to go look for it, let's just say we saw it all the way over there"
Then she said
"Ok."
And she took the fish toy, then one of the kids came back on the floaty thing and she started saying to the other friend
"Where's my fish toy???"
At first it was relaxing cause they weren't bouncing everywhere anymore but then they started talking to us
"Have you guys seen a fish toy around here?"
At that moment my friend was sitting on the toy so they couldn't see but then the kid said
"Could you please stand up, maybe you might be sitting on it by accident"
All I was thinking was
Oh no.
Then my friend stood up and nothing was under her at all
0.0 what the heck when did she get so good at this
XD does she do this sort of stuff all the time, like, does she go around stealing little kids toys and like keeps them as trophies in her room and she just looks at them one day like
Why did I even collect these....

Sorry, off topic, so
After the two kids went back to swimming around looking for the toy my friend and I
Felt
Fulfilled XD
I knew we would get in trouble if we didn't do something soon
So
I had the genius idea to
Let the toy fish float peacefully in the lake
Ya....um...... As you can tell from the title that's not exactly what happened
I put it in the lake
And all me and my friend could do was watch in horror as it slowly sinks to the bottom of the lake •_•

At this point me and her are panicking so badly and at that moment all we hear is
"That fish is so special to me, my grandma gave it to me! I need to find it!"
Me and my friend just look at eachother like, WHAT HAVE WE DDOOONNNNEEEEEE

(In the end the other little kid almost drowned cause of us but she got the fish out of the lake and me and my friend just kinda left then....)
