After a sad dinner of burst toast with expired jam, Namjoon returned to his bedroom where Seokjin was sitting there as if he hadn't done anything wrong. The student kept his distance, subtly stepping further from Jin.

Namjoon didn't feel very fond of the small boy anymore, and for good reason too. What kind of freak just carves their initials into someone's wrist because of jealousy? Even if he was a very cute freak, Namjoon wasn't forgiving him so easily.

He still hadn't answered Hoseok's message. While the thrill of having his best friend back in town gave him an immense surge of happiness, he couldn't help but worry about how Jin would react, now knowing of his severe... jealousy issues. If he'd gotten upset over Namjoon simply talking to an acquaintance, how would he feel about Namjoon hugging and talking with his best friend for hours instead of paying attention to Jin?

"Hey!" Namjoon stumbled backwards, yelping as he tripping over the stupid teacup that Seokjin had knocked to the ground, banging his head on his closet door when Jin suddenly advanced towards him. He groaned and rubbed his head, watching hazily as Seokjin got on his knees to grab Teddy.

"Play?" He asked like an eager puppy, shuffling forwards to sit in Namjoon's lap.

"No, no play," Namjoon warned, pushing Seokjin off, very gently as to not anger him. "We need to discuss some serious boundaries." He jabbed his forefinger towards the carving on his wrist.

"Silly Joonie, that was just a little gift."

"Seokjin, that was not a gift." Namjoon said firmly, staying his ground. He looked at the note that had come with Seokjin in that box, now pinned on his bulletin board, he needed something to use against Jin to control the little psycho. 'He is yours unless you can't handle him', damn right I can't.

Namjoon took a deep breath, trying to ground himself. "Seokjin," he began, his tone softer this time, though still firm. "I need you to understand something. What you did... it's not okay. Carving your name into my wrist? That's not how you show you care about someone." He explained as if scolding a child for throwing sand.

Seokjin tilted his head, not-so-subtly shuffling back into Namjoon's lap yet again. "But now everyone knows you're mine," he said like it was the most logical explanation in the world, his voice as soft and dreamy as always.

Namjoon groaned as Jin crawled back into his spot, holding his hips firmly. "That's not... holy crap, that's not how it works! People don't just... claim other people like that."

Jin's lips formed a perfect little 'o,' as if Namjoon had just told him the sky wasn't blue. He wrapped his slim arms around Namjoon's neck. "Then how do I show it? Tell me, Joonie, and I'll do it!"

Namjoon cocked an eyebrow, surprised by Jin's sudden switch in attitude, the doll had a million different personalities. He scratched the back of his neck, trying to control his racing heart from the proximity of Seokjin's body. It didn't help that he could feel Jin's heartbeat. "You don't have to do anything, just stop being a little freak."

"Freak?" Jin cooed, shifting his head back and forth like some chicken. "But I'm not a freak, Joonie." His fingers toyed with the hem of Namjoon's shirt, his gaze dropping shyly before flicking back up, eyes wide and imploring. "I just wanted you to see how much I like you."

Namjoon sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Seokjin, liking someone doesn't mean crossing their boundaries. It means respecting them and their space."

Seokjin's expression fell, his bottom lip jutting out and his eyebrows arching inward, and for a moment, Namjoon felt a pang of guilt, until Jin leaned forward, resting his chin on his shoulder with a dramatic pout, hooting sadly. "But I don't want space," He whined, his breath tickling Namjoon's ear. "I want to be close to you all the time! You're mine, Joonie, a-"
