Chapter 5

Rome's POV

"Hey baby are you coming to my party on Friday?" My current girlfriend, Amy asked me, wrapping her skinny arms around my biceps.

I had a lacrosse match the next day and coach said that if I came to one more match drunk I would be off the team so I went to tell her that I couldn't make it.

"Amy I-" I started but the roar of a motorbike interrupted me.

Everyone stopped talking and stared at the girl on the bike.

She had a helmet on so no one knew who was it was and the smell of the bike was masking her scent.

She stepped off the bike gracefully and finally took off her helmet.

It was the new girl.

Her hair fell down in a curtain down her back and over her shoulders.

Boys were whistling and making comments about how hot she was.

A deep growl erupted from me making the people closest to me jump.

New girl turned around and smirked at me. She must have heard me growl.

She sashayed up the steps and was about to walk inside when Amy tapped her on her shoulder.

"Yes?" She says sweetly, smiling at Amy.

"Who do you think you are? Walking around in those clothes acting like you own the whole school!" Grace says placing her hands on her hips.

New girl looks Grace up and down and smirks "Well, look who's talking".

I sigh and walk over before something they will both regret happens.

"What's going on here?" I ask gently, standing next to Amy and putting my hand on her hip.

New girl looks between us and smiles innocently.

"Oh, is this your little fΩck buddy?"

My eyes widened and I was about to tell her to watch her mouth when Amy did something very stupid.

She slapped her.

The new girl's eyes narrowed and she launched herself at Amy and punched her square in the nose. Blood went everywhere and people were screaming and a couple of idiots were chanting 'FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!'

"YOU BITCH! YOU BROKE MY NOSE!" Amy yelled raking her now sharp yellow nails down NG's face (NG is my name for my mate until I find out what her actual name is).

NG screamed and had a murderous look in her ever darkening eyes so I quickly put my arms around her waist stopping her from clawing out Amy's eyeballs.

I mind-linked Charlie to hold back Amy and for him to follow me.

I swung NG onto my shoulder and started running to the forest.

Big mistake.

What was you ask?

Well let's just say NG didn't appreciate being whisked off of her feet.

Suddenly she froze and became very still. I became very suspicious.

She drew her leg back.

Oh shit.

She threw her leg back and kicked me as hard as she could right where the sun don't shine.

I groaned and fell to my knees in pain. This tiny girl was really strong.

"YES! I'M FREE!" She yelled jumping around on the spot.

She spotted Charlie carrying Amy a few metres and started running towards them.
