A/N: Sorry there has been so much like inner monologue and not as much plot, things will be moving a long soon!
Harry's POV:
The crowd was absolutely roaring as we ran on stage that night. The fans were a sea of Irish flags, posters, glitter, and rainbows. It was electrifying.
We took our positions as they cheered louder and louder, the beginning beats of Kiss You pounded throughout the stadium. Zayn and Liam walked to the front of the stand, Liam's arm rested on Zayn's shoulder as he sang the first verse. I lingered next to Louis, this time not on purpose.
We danced a little playfully, the buzz of the crowd and the familiar tune taking over the energy of the night. As mostly Zayn and Liam sang the rest of the song, I chimed in when supposed to, mostly moseying about the stage.
The songs started to blur into one another, and eventually we'd finished three songs, all going by in a flash of screams and shouting and dancing. The beginning beats of They Don't Know About Us sounded, and my ears perked up. I had a job during this song, sing to Louis.
While Liam sang the opening verse, I turned and walked back over towards Louis. He way playing with the mic holder, so I placed my hands just about his, almost barely touching.
"This love is only getting stronger, and I don't wanna wait any longer," I sang, smirking as I stared into his eyes. The air between us shifted, different from when we were practicing. As I felt the eyes of thousands on me, my face flushed. Could they feel the electricity zapping between us like I could?
"I just want to tell the world that you're mine, girl," I sang, straining a little and throwing my head back more to hit the notes. When I focused back in on Louis, he looked pale, just a faint pink blush tickling the tips of his ears and nose. I smirked again, looking from his lips to his eyes before turning back around to sing the chorus from my own mic.
I had another verse coming up after the chorus, so I grabbed my mic and circled around Niall a bit as he sang, mouthing the lyrics along with him. Then I focused in on Louis again, eye contact piercing.
"It's getting better, keeps getting better all the time girl," I sang out, feeling the words in my gut.
A few more songs passed before I decided to bug Louis again. Liam was in the middle of talking to fans, asking names and random questions that got a laugh out of everyone. I walked over to Louis, thoroughly checking him out from head to toe. Afterward, I adjusted my jeans around my hips, not even realizing how suggestive it looked until I glanced at Louis afterward, feeling the heat of his gaze from a few feet away. Good god, eyes don't lie.
For some reason, I was almost dreading Little Things now. It felt awkward having to profess my love for Louis when we'd just hooked up. It was like having to tell someone you love them after the first date. Way too weird and raw. And forced.
The song started nonetheless, and as I took my place next to Louis, the crowd silencing, I felt a little nervous.
As Liam and Zayn song the first bit of the song, I sat down on a block towards the side of the stage, Louis joining me, putting a few feet of distance between us. The way we were sat positioned me diagonal, so that I was facing Louis and the crowd at the same time.
I watched as Louis caressed one of his new tattoos, waiting for his verse. We sang through the chorus no drama, and then Louis started.
