I push myself for you
I do the things you won't do
I throw myself on the line
I make the effort
You probably think it's enough
But I'll always go out of my way
to impress you
Maybe you think its not necessary
But I'll do it without hestitation
Despite my efforts
I'll never give up
This one is a bit more specific. I'm not going to say who it's about but basically I go out of my way to get people to like me and usually I have to find different ways to impress them because if I'm just myself I won't think it's good enough.
