Chapter 17:

after my breakdown, I took out the necklace, my hand running down the silver necklace. it brought back so many memories, that for the past days I've been trieing to forget. Caroline was rubbing my back, as I took in a deep breath, and turned to Damon. I mouthed thank you, he smiled at me, and turned back to the necklace.

after my celebration, I put on the clothing Caroline bought me. as I stood, in mirror examining myself, my reflection scared me. the clothing made my old self sort of stand out. she was itching to come out, admit she still loved Stefan, and I wouldn't let her out. I then stepped out, my heels clicking as I stepped out. Caroline and Tyler turned towards me, and there mouths wide. "Holy crap!" Caroline smiled at me. "Its looks like you before you turned emo!" she teased.

"Shut up" I laughed. "I forgot something" I said running back into the bathroom. I set the necklaces down, should I choose Matts or Stefan? I decided Stefan's was to fancy for this outfit. I put Matt's on, walking out. "Now how does it look?" I asked.

"Fantastic!" Caroline smiled, "Want to go somewhere for dinner?" she asked. "We'll pay." she smirked.

"Lets go!!" I cheered running outside, I got into the car, as we drove off to Red Lobster is what we decided. as we pulled up, I noticed a bike, and I wanted to run and hide. "Why is he here?" I growled, but inside I was dancing and cheering.

"Don't be angry," Tyler smirked, I however didn't find this funny. I found it fantastic! I wanted to see Stefan on my birthday. as we went inside I would regret wanting to see him. because right next to him was the monster herself, Elena. my chest made an awful growling noise. "Someone is jelius!" Tyler teased, I turned to him, and growled. he backed off, better. web neared the table, I didn't look at him, and looked at my menu.

"How is your birthday?" Stefan asked.

"great. until now." I scowled, Stefan seemed confused. I rolled my eyes, getting up. "Thanks for the almost dinner, I can't stand her being here. goodbye." I said walking away, damn them all for thinking this would be fun. As I was walking out, Stefan zoomed infront of me. "Go away." I growled.

"I know." he shouted my way. Know's what? I wondered, spinning around to face him.

"Know what?" I asked him.

"That you still love me." he said.

"Yeah, but you obsivly have feelings for my sister, so you can enjoy her heartlessness." I said, running to Caroline, and Tyler's car. Not wanting to hear anymore, I sat in the back, and watited. When they walked out, laughing, and I think Elena even laughed. As they slid in the car, I rolled my eyes. "How could you possibly think I would enjoy this?" I asked them, both of them turned around to face me, and Caroline frowned, and Tyler smirked. "I just want to sleep, worst birthday." I mumbled, as we drove off, I kept my eyes out the window, and watched the trees pass by.

As we pulled into Caroline's house, I got out while the two stayed in the car, and messed around. I couldn't think about that, as I entered the house, and seeing Klaus I jumped. "What the hell man?" I laughed, taking off my jacket, and throwing it aside. "Whatcha doing here?" I asked him.

"I heard Tyler's in town, is that true?" he questioned me, turning to me, and raising an eyebrow.

"I have no clue." I lied, Klaus shook his head, and clicked his tounge.

"Wrong answer, I know he is here, I just heard them." Klaus smirked my way, shoving me hard against the wall, and holding my thoat.

"Do-don't do th-this, Car-Caroline will never for-forgive you." I chocked, he laughed, and shook his head.

"I. Don't. Care." Klaus hissed, biting his wrist, shoving the blood into my mouth, and then I felt his hands on my head, and a loud snap, and everything went dark.
