Amber's POV

I was awoken by rays of light shining on my face i then opened my eyes to see Queen Eira i mean my grandmother opening the curtains awakening me in the process i then let out a slight groan then she laughed and said
Eira: rishe and shine little one,never forget the early bird catches the worm
I just stared at her she looked especially radiant in the morning, her pale blue eyes staring down at me with her pitch black hair flowing behind her and her somewhat english accent so soothing so calm,she spoke again
Eira: Well, don't just stare up, and at em we don't want to be late  if you want to help me with the preparations for Thane's feast
Amber: Okay, I'm up. I'm up
Eira: Good, let me wake james
Amber: Yeah... he's not a morning person
We both laughed andvi stood up to get ready. i couldn't wait to learn about Adamantia and her culture.this is going to be fun

At Enchancia

Sofia's POV

I was awake all,night mum couldn't sleep,dad couldn't sleep baileywick couldn't sleep,the guards couldn't sleep because we were all searching for Amber and James, how could they be so selfish running away like that,i mean I'd understand if it were james but amber wouldn't be so foolish
I was tired, so i decided to go back inside and sleep on my way i saw the door to mum dad's room was open and out of curiosity i went in and i saw a very cute box i opened it and saw a lot of jewelry in it a lot of necklaces, bracelets,earrings in different colours and species of gems opals diamonds rubies amethysts and they looked like they hadn't been touched in a long time like very long then dad walked and he didn't look so happy to find me searching through his jewelry box then he went ballistic when he saw a missing space in the shape of a butterfly and that's when he lost it i told him i didn't touch anything then i realised Amber and James probably took it when they left when i told him he looked like he had seen a ghost then he ran out leaving me there confused, i had to follow him and by the time i caught up to him he was getting ready to leave by flying horse claiming to know where Amber and James were but mom didn't like the idea of dad going alone
Miranda: But rolly, you can't go by yourself. At least take some guards with you
Roland: no i...i can't if i don't know where I'm going.....i mean, I know where they are i just don't exactly know how to get there
Miranda: That is not reassuring

Then i had an idea

Sofia: i can follow you, dad
Miranda: What! Absolutely not
Roland: Your mother is right it's too dangerous
Sofia: Yeah, but I've been through way harder situations, and I'm good at navigating. i can help you find wherever you're going
Roland: I've been there once but it was a long time ago
Sofia: i can help if you let me please mom,dad.
Miranda: *sighs* Fine, but you must take a coach
Roland: Then it's settled. Let's go, Sofia

So we took a coach and headed towards the east, so i had to ask
Sofia: dad,where exactly are we going, and if you don't mind me asking, who does that jewellery box belong to
Roland: *takes a deep breath* it belonged to my late wife Queen Lorelei.........and we are going to Adamantia where she was the princess before she married me
I wanted to know more, but he looked like he didn't want to talk about it, so i said nothing

Meanwhile

James POV

I was now walking down the hall with my grandma and Amber grand ma was talking about the history of Adamantia. i wasn't really paying attention, but Amber was fascinated
Eira:........and that's why we celebrate Thane's feast every year and right after we perform a ritual Thane's blessing for the new miners
Amber: Wow, so Thane's feast is later this evening, right.....so we can attend
Eira: why yes of course Thane's feast is for everyone in Adamantia even though you aren't from here you can attend and besides i had Otto tell everyone that my grandchildren have arrived so you will be expected
James: Nice, will there be food
Amber: james! It is literally called 'Thane's feast'
Eira:*chuckles*Yes, james, there will be plenty Adamantian delicacies to enjoy. It'san all you caneat buffet this Year, i personally recommend the topaz apple pies
James: Mmmm, i can taste it already
Amber: Oh, james
Eira: Oh, there's something i want to give you two, for the feast

Grandma led us to the highest floor in the palace. i could tell this was going to be another history thing, but i wanted to see what she was giving us

Eira: this is the regalia vault where all the ancient fabrics from the past are kept and that is what the queen or king is to wear along with members of the Royal family for Thane's feast and i want you two to wear it too
James: No way, thanks, grandma
Amber: we will be honoured
Eira: splendid

I started looking around in the vault while grandma and amber were trying on different fabrics then i saw a paunting covered with a cloth and out of curiosity I pulled the cloth down and i saw it a portrait of a man a woman and a little girl who looked way too much like amber that it  was kinda creepy then i heard someone speak

Eira: That is your grandfather and me with your mom when she was. ummm, i think six years old in this picture
Amber: Wow.............no offence, but mum looks way more like Grandad
Eira: i know she had his hair,eyes his ambition......she was her father's daughter alright

Then someone barged in

Otto: your majesty it's time
Eira: very well, Otto,children have you picked the fabric for the ceremony
Amber: yes grandma
James: yes grandma
Eira: so we are all ready  let's go

Amber and i were wearing the same fabric i don't know why but we always wore matching outfits since we were born i guess it's a twin thing . The outfits were made from rhododendron leaves on a loom and were decorated with emeralds and sapphires same with grandma we walked down the stairs of the palace with the people cheering and screaming then grandma said a little speech and declared the ceremony to begin and i have to say it was WILD and i thought we back in Enchancia knew how to party but this was next level it was outside in the town square people from all parts of Adamantia were present even the pixies i even saw Serena,then the entertainment arrived a man who was breathing fire and women walking on their hands and doing tricks upside down and a magician who brought out a butterfly from behind Amber's ear and lest i forget the FOOD, when grandma said topaz apple pie i didn't think she meant actual topaz and the fruit punch was like riding on a rainbow and the steak was roasted to perfection.
I saw amber talking to Amaya and peter her brother so i went to join them
James: hey Amaya and peter
Amaya: hello prince james
Peter: your Highness
Amber: call him james
We all laughed and partied
When the party died down we were the last to leve then we say the pixies like thousands of them come and sprinkle some pixie dust everywhere in the town square then everything thing disappeared like all the leftover food the mess on the ground everything was clean
Eira: thank you mistybloom tribe we are indeed very grateful
Serena: it's part of our deal isn't it and the feeling is mutual
We went back to the palace and hit the hay for the night it was quite eventful and we certainly needed the rest.
