  Amber and James were so speechless about what happened, and then the light in front of them started glowing brighter, and then everything started slowing down so they could now see her clearly instead of a light. She was like a fairy from those stories. But she was way smaller she looked like a baby with wings, a very small baby. She had curly brown hair caramel skin with electric blue eyes, and she wore a magenta flower dress. Then she spoke

Serena: I'm sure you must be confused you see in Adamantia many years ago we made a deal with Thane the great  when he came here to mine we told him that he didn't bother us we wouldn't bother him and he agreed so the mistybloom tribe has been living in laurel forest ever since we,the even help the town people if they need anything
Amber: Not to be.....rude, but who is Thane the great
Serena:*sighs* Oh, i forgot you guys are.....new. come with me to valtoria City, the capital of Adamantia, Amaya will tell you everything
James: amaya?
Amber: val-what city
Serena: Just come,follow me

So they followed her to valtoria City. They left their horses at laurel Forest , and Serena assured them that they would be fine with the pixies. When they got there they wre surprised it was very busy everybody was up and about then Serena led them to an inn they wre at the counter then Serena rang the bell then a brunette with short hair came up to them
....?: Oh my days! Serena, so good to see you. Who are your friends?
Amber: im Amber, and this is my brother James
James was too stunned to speak for himself
....?: Well, im Amaya. i own this inn. Would you like a place to stay for the night, or are you just passing through
Serena: Actually, they are the twins i told you about
Amaya: Oh really, you should come with me to the palace
Amber: the palace?
Amaya: Yes, your grandmother would love to see you after all these years. Don't you want to see her? i know i would. If i could have one more day with my grandma, i would treasure it
James: What happened to your grandma
Amaya: she passed away
Serena: Grace was a good woman. She was like an unofficial historian of the city
Amaya:*smiles with pride * Yes, she was
James: we send our condolences to you and yours
Amaya: Thanks, little man. Now let's go meet yours

Amber and James are being led to the palace, and Thane's keep to meet the queen. When they reached the gate, Amaya spoke to the guards
Amaya: we request to meet the Queen, it's rather urgent
Guard #1: What for if i may?
Amaya: it's personal and private to the Queen
Guard#2: Very well, then

They opened the gates and led them to the entrance as they walked in, Amber started looking around. There were different paintings and tapestries in the hall that led to the throne room. Amber was impressed which was hard to do but what caught her attention was the throne it was made from real crystals and diamonds.When they got there, they saw a woman with skin as white as snow and hair as black as ebony with blue eyes ( pic above ) sitting in the throne it was quite a site to see,it was hard to believe that she is Lorelei's mother especially because Lorelei had amber eyes and blonde hair

Amaya: Your majesty,I'm so sorry to bother you, especially with your preparation for the annual Thane's feast
Queen Eira: no no its alright, Amaya is...is..that no..but
Then she stood up and walked toward Amber and James, then she looked into their eyes and spoke
Eira: By the beard of thane, it is you oh my days you have grown so much ,it seems like yesterday you two were splashing each other in the tub
Amber: ummm....i...I guess i should call you grandmother
James: or meemaw,nana,grandma, mami,grandmami
Queen Eira laughs, and so do Amaya Amber and James
Eira: You kids are so smart. How did you know how to find me
Amber: That reminds me, i found this necklace in my dads room
Eira: Oh,it's oh, i thought I lost this. i forgot it was with Lorelei
Amber: You can have it if back
Eira: nonsense! It's a family heirloom, and you are family. Speaking of that, how did you get here
Amber: the Duchess Lorraine gave me
Eira: Duchess Lorraine, wow, it's been ages since I last saw her. After your mom died, i never really talked to anyone. i was stuck in a world of grief
James: we're here now, so show us around
Amaya: Sorry to ruin the moment, but I've got to go. An inn won't run on its own. Bye.
James: Bye
...?: *clears throat * Your grace,the decoration theme must be approved by you before they start, and don't forget your appointment with Lady Elinor
Eira: Oh, hello Otto, sorry, but i am busy
Otto: Your grace, these appointments can not wait
Eira: Fine
Then she faced Amber and James
Eira: How about i get you two a room for the evening, and I'll show you  around first thing on the morrow
Amber: That's perfect. i am exhausted
James: No problem, i can do with hitting the hay
Eira: it's settled then

Later

Eira: I hope you are comfortable
Amber: i am this cotton is so soft, and the bed frame is that real sapphire...no its topaz... beautiful
Eira: Wow, your knowledge of minerals and gems are top notch,good night

James room

Eira: Hey little j, how are you? Is it comfy
She got no response except a snore. James was fast asleep,poor thing must be bushed.till tomorrow.

What's popping! I don't know why, but i always enjoy writing this story. Ariverderci(I'm going through a phase of saying things in random languages okay)
