A Few Notes || Muke

Day 50

Michael opened up his notebook and sighed. Seeing all of the writing his done, it made him want to just tear out every page and make sure Luke never sees it.

Michael stood across from Luke as Luke has watched Michael flip through the pages of his notebook. He opened up his notebook, taking the pencil he brought opening to a blank page and began to write.

Dear Luke, 

Here we are standing face to face with this stupid notebook in between us. I know you're trying to read everything I'm writing right now but good luck Luke, I know you can't read upside down. You're standing there looking all adorable and curious about what I'm writing. I'm not writing about anything, I'm just writing to you. I kinda think it would be easier for you to read this page first, but for some reason I want it to be last so you know I'm still the same boy that's your best friend and not someone else writing. I know you're probably confused now considering I'm still writing but whatever, I'm done now. Bye.

Michael closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath smiling. Handing Luke the notebook, making sure Luke had a good grip on it.

"Please call me when you're done reading, I want to know if we're still friends are not but I hope we are" he said with a warm smile as he watched Luke look over the notebook.

"But don't read it until you get home please, I think it would be better if you read it then thought about it then called me" he added quickly and sighed.

Michael watched the taller boy as he received the smile he loved from Luke. "I will do, but why is this notebook such a big deal?" Luke asked slightly tilting his head.

"Don't worry about it you'll see later." Michael said back slightly shaking his head and then sighed.

Michael looked down as he spoke up. "Bye Luke" he said quietly then walked away after seeing Luke wave as they walked to their houses.
