Lol, I'm changing the POV, because writing in the viewpoint of Sasuke is mind numbingly difficult.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Sasuke dragged his suitcase out the station, the air conditioning blasted cold air at him one last time before he exited into the blazing heat. It welcomed him like an old enemy of bad memories of sunburns and hot flashes.
A taxi waited at the gates for customers and he called for it to pull forwards, refusing the old man's assistance with the baggage.
The rocky road that led into the countryside town was now paved and smooth, but still empty.
New stores have opened up and have modernized the town slightly. He could still see the shops he would visit when he was younger. Convenience store for popsicle. Bakery for sweet pastries.
The elderly taxi driver looked back at Sasuke who starred off intensely out the window. "You look lonely. Are you from here?"
He hesitated,".....no."
He arrived in time to check in to the hotel, kicking off his shoes and loosening his tie once he got in his room. He let out a huge sigh as if he had held it in all this time. He laid back, closing his eyes, until a ring ruined the silence.
"Hello?"
"Have you gone sightseeing yet?"
"Not today."
"Oh yes you are, I'll even personally go down there if you don't."
"I'd rather you not. After I rest, I'll go."
"I don't trust you...... how about everyday you....write down what you did."
"I don't have time for that, I have work to do."
"Aha! I knew you were going to! Uchiha, it's your vacation, spend it wisely."
"Hm."
"Good boy, have fun!" She hung up after her cheery remark.
He threw his phone aside, resting his arm over his eyes. Worn out and stressed, he let out a sigh.
