REQUESTEDIN WHICH jobe comforts his girlfriend
Jobe Bellingham had been getting back to the usual rhythm of his days after a tough match. He had been scoring goals, training hard, and of course, spending time with Emilia, his girlfriend, when he could. Everything had seemed perfect, until recently, when he noticed something had shifted.
Emilia had always been the sunshine in his life. She was strong, supportive, and never let the noise of the world affect her. But lately, jobe noticed she'd been quieter. She had a way of hiding things, wearing a smile even when things weren't okay. At first, he chalked it up to her being busy. They both had hectic schedules, after all.
However, over the past few days, jobe's concern grew. He'd sent Emilia a few texts, called her more than usual, but hadn't received a reply. It wasn't like her to ignore him, especially not for this long. The worst part was that he hadn't wanted to push her, unsure if she was just dealing with personal things or if it was something deeper.
Then, it happened.
jobe was sitting down for breakfast one morning when his phone buzzed with a call from his mum.
"jobe, I've been trying to reach Emilia for the past few days, but she's not responding. Is everything okay with her? She's been quiet the last time I spoke to her too."
His mother's words hit him like a slap. He knew how close Emilia was to his family, especially to his mum. She would never just stop replying, especially not to someone as close to her as his mother.
jobe's stomach sank. Something wasn't right.
"Thanks, mum. I'll check on her," he said quickly, his voice tight with worry.
He hung up, his heart racing as the questions flooded his mind. Why hadn't Emilia responded to him? What was going on with her? Was something happening that she wasn't telling him? He felt an overwhelming urge to go to her, to make sure she was okay.
Without another thought, he grabbed his keys, threw on a hoodie, and rushed out the door. His mind raced with thoughts of Emilia, how she had been so full of life and energy when they were together, how she'd always had a way of lighting up his darkest days. To think that something could be wrong and she wasn't telling him made his chest tighten with anxiety.
