IN WHICH pau cubarsi gets injured and his girlfriend is there to support him
The lights of the Camp Nou burned bright, illuminating the roaring crowd of over 90,000 fans. It was a special night. FC Barcelona was facing their historic rivals in an important league match. The atmosphere was electric, with flags waving, chants echoing, and the tension strong. at that night sofia, pau cubarsi's girlfriend, sat in one of his shirts to support him in the family section of the stadium. She clapped and screamed with the other wives everytime the players had a chance to kick the ball and score a goal, her heart racing every time he touched the ball.
Pau was playing his heart out as usual. Known for his defensive prowess and calm demeanor on the pitch, he had become a fan favorite, not just for his skill but for his undeniable charisma and beauty. On the field, he was focused and determined, off it, he was sweet and protective, especially when it came to sofia
The game had reached the 75th minute, with the score tied 1-1. Barcelona was pressing hard for the winning goal. Pau had just intercepted a dangerous counterattack, sliding in perfectly to dispossess the opposing forward. As he got up to clear the ball, an opposing player lunged in recklessly, his elbow smashing into Pau's face with brutal force.
The crowd gasped. Pau immediately collapsed to the ground, clutching his face. Blood started streaming down, staining his white sleeve as he pressed it against his nose and mouth. His teammates surrounded him, panic etched on their faces. gavi knelt beside him, shouting for the medical team, while Ter Stegen stood protectively, warding off the opposition players who tried to protest the foul.
Pau groaned in pain, barely able to open his eyes. "I need her. I need sofia" he muttered through clenched teeth, his voice shaky but insistent. His teammates exchanged concerned glances. "she's on her way, bro" Pedri reassured him, though sofia was still in the stands, unaware of the extent of the injury.
High up in the stadium, sofia froze as the big screen showed a close-up of Pau's bloodied face. Her heart sank. The camera lingered on him as the commentators discussed the severity of the foul. The sight of him lying there, vulnerable and in pain, made her feel helpless.
She couldn't sit still. She bolted from her seat, her drink falling to the ground, and ran down the stairs toward the pitch. Security staff intercepted her before she could reach the field. "You can't go there, ma'am" one of them said firmly.
