Chapter 6

Josh is driving as fast as he can to get to April's house. Im holding on to the door as tight as possible trying to calm down. After about what feels like an hour we're finally at April's. I jump out of the car with a cool breeze smacking me in the face. I run over to the door and bang on the white door until April opens the door. Shes a mess he cloths are torn and bloody and shes crying. She speaks first, her voice weak and frail.

"Why do you have stitches? Why are your nuckles bandaged?" This why I love april no matter what shes going through she thinks of me first.

"Ape, Don't worry about me im fine now whats wrong with you?" I wrap her in a big hug and walk her inside Josh awkwardly U in his car upset knowing that he can't do anything. I mouth a sorry to Josh as I close the door. We walk down the hall and into her purple bedroom, we sit down on her bed and April curls into a little ball and starts sobbing, poor girl i don't know what.to do for her so i just crawl on her bed and wrap her in a hug. She looks up at me with sorry eyes tears steadly flowing down her cheeks.

"I don't know what happy to you but you can tell me anything, I wont judge you and i'll stick with you no matter how hard it is." April hugs me, she wraps me into the tightest hug ever. I dont know what to do I've never seen her like this,

"i'll be right back" i walked out of her bedroom leaving April a crying mess on her bed. I walk into her blue bathroom and remove all sharp objects, she self harmed after Josh killed himself and she wasn't even in this bad of condition when that happen. I go over to the white bathtub and turn the golden handles making it a perfect temperature. I put the old plug into the drain and add some bubble bath. I run over to her guest room to grab my old one pieve bathing suit. I slip off my cloths and put on the pink and black speedo. I walk back down the tan halls to got to April's room. I help her off her blue covers and removed her teddy bear from her hands and gently laid it on the bed. We walked back down the hall and into the bathroom. I helped her undress and gently help her into the white tub. The water turns pink and on her breast she has finger nail indents, her breast were bleeding from the finger nail punchure wound. She has bruises on her back and on her stomach. He lips are bruised. I gently finsh washing her off and drain the water i turn on cold water with a bit of ,heat to numb everything. i watch her wet body slowly calm down and soon she falls asleep sitting in the tub under the shower...what happen to my bestfriend?
