gaara x naruto

It was another day in the leaf village everyone was awake except for one blond naruto. He slept away in his small neat apartment occasionally tossing and turning making his blankets tangle between his legs, today gaara had to meet with the hokage and go over some plans of course after he would go see naruto, they were good friends after all. So soon enough naruto slowly awoke to his door being knocked on, he didn't know who was there or how long they had been knocking for but never the less he stood from his bed wiped some sleep that was clearly visible on his face and walked to his door and answered it. "Hey naruto I was in town and i just thought you'd like to go out for some ramen" gaara said giving one of his rare handsome smiles. Naruto instantly rose from what residual tiredness remained at the mention of ramen and smiled his famous big toothy grin "sure I'm all for ramen especially if its free " naruto lead gaara in and closed the door "I just have to get ready then we can leave" gaara hummed in agreement and sat on a couch that was in Naruto's little living room, naruto walked into his room and left the door cracked slightly leaving gaara alone in his thoughts.

(Gaara's thoughts~)

(Okay....,today is the day......I've been coming here for two straight weeks.....I'm going to tell him today I'll ask him to the festival tonight and I'll tell him at the firework show)

gaara was interrupted by naruto leaving his room ready, he bent down to put on his sandles and gaara nearly drooled all over the blonds couch, naruto was perfection in gaara's eyes his soft silky blond hair, his small nose that fit his face perfectly, his deep blue eyes that could look straight through you if you let them and not to mention his petite yet muscular body. After admiring naruto for a minute gaara finally stood and walked to the door with naruto and left.

Naruto and gaara sat eating ramen quietly well gaara did anyway naruto was stuffing his face with ramen while gaara was eating calmly both looked like opposites but in truth are very alike gaara cleared his throat after eating his ramen daring not to look up at naruto. The sheer volume of his blush and just how far it spread. Running his hand through his red locks and licking his lips gaara spoke "so....the sand villages festival is coming up....I was wondering if.....you'd like to accompany me....I tend not to go but I'd like to take you....with me" naruto stopped and looked at gaara carefully before answering "I'd love to go with you" gaara blushed lightly and smiled "okay....great after you're done we can head back to your apartment so you can pack" naruto nodded and tried to stuff his face even faster, as soon as he was done naruto then practically dragged gaara to his apartment where he hurriedly packed clothes only to stop in his tracks midway in the scramble to pack his toiletries. He was hit with the realization...he only ever would rent his montsuki when a festival was around in konoha "crap" naruto mumbled under his breath Placing his toiletries bag down and walked to the red head waiting for him "I don't have a montsuki.....so I might just have to wear normal clothes" gaara thought for a few moments before closing the two or so steps of space that remained between the two and reached down slightly (because the height difference) rifling the blond counterparts hair smiling sweetly a smile that was only meant for naruto "its fine i can rent you one if you'd like?" Naruto smiled back a light blush crept up on his face from gaara's kindness not to mention proximity"i wouldn't want to be any trouble." Naruto spoke soft looking away slightly Gaara half stepped to the side regaining the sight of the other his expression softened "i insist, the sand village has a great selection" naruto sighed in defeat and gave a curt nod before removing himself to finish packing then making his way to the entre way opening his door "well lets go gaara-kun or we wont have time to shop" he smiled big seeing the red head cheeks flare up "okay.....dont leave without me!" He called out catching up to the blond.
