Promise

A/N: This is the last chapter. Thank you for loving this FF. This was supposed to be longer but I just wanted to give a good ending since I'm giving up on this story as I have posted before. But, surely, I will always support YinWar with their projects but VeeMark would always have a special place in m heart.

Mark's parents were astonished. Their feelings were mixed seeing how the alpha was acting. 

"Vee, what's happening?" Mark's mother asked with a worried face. 

"I promised that I will take care of Mark. But, forgive me if this happened sooner than expected."

With those vague words, the tension was continuously rising. Mark's father was trying to calm himself by clenching his hand. But, he looked at his son trying to look for a clue and assurance that everything is alright. However, he could see anxiousness in Mark's eyes. 

"What is it? What did you do to my son?"

"Mae, Por, I'm…pregnant." Mark spilled the tea.

His parents gasped but after a few seconds, Mark's mother jumped with joy and hugged his son.

"Congratulations, my baby. Aww. I'll be a grandmother now."

Vee was carefully trying to analyze the reaction of Mark's father. The old man was just sitting there quietly while looking at his wife and son.

"Mr. Masa?" Vee called.

The old man looked at him. "You better take care of my son and grandson. A pregnant omega is hard to deal with. They are sensitive, emotional and unreasonable."

"Por!" Mark pouted.

Vee just laughed. "I think Mark has been like that since the beginning when he became an omega. Don't worry, I will do my best to take responsibility. I will never fail you."

Calling for a celebration, Mark's parents asked Vee to invite his family to have dinner in the Masa residences. The Vivis family was not informed yet of the news but they plan to tell it during the dinner.

Luckily, Vivis family was available and since Vee pressured them to come, they immediately prepared.

When Vee's parents and brother arrived, they were welcomed with a smile by Mark's mother.

"Thank you for coming. This is a day to celebrate so I hope we can all share happiness."

Vee's family were confused but they proceeded to have dinner.

While eating, Vee broke the news. His brother almost choked himself. His parents gasped.

"Sorry, Mae." Mark whispered.

"Oh no, don't be sorry, honey. It is not your fault. It's our Vee's fault for not keeping his

heat on his own. But, we are happy about this. Gosh! I hope your pregnancy goes well." Vee's mother assured him. Then, he glared at Vee. "Vee, you need to be more responsible than ever. Know that omega pregnancy is very sensitive. Always make sure that Mark will not be stressed out."

"Yes Mae." Vee responded.

It was then when they realized that Vee's father was shedding tears in silence.

"Por, why are you crying?" Vee asked.

"I'm not crying, you dumb. Make sure you will treat Mark with triple effort. My grandchild shall be healthy. Of course, Mark should also be healthy."

Everyone laughed at his father's tsundere attitude. But they all accepted the news with love and happiness.

One day, Vee went home early to be with Mark but was surprised because of the omega's coldness.
