This one shot will feature a special new character!
Nunew and Zee met on Christmas, a few years later, they eventually got married on Christmas. What type of surprises will await them now?
On Christmas Eve
Zee and Nunew were having Christmas dinner with their families and friends. After the dinner, they went home. While lying in bed, Zee asked Nunew, "Nu, if you could have one gift for Christmas, what would it be?"
"To stay with you forever of course." said Nu.
"I think that gift is already given to you." Zee said.
Nu pouted. Zee kissed his forehead. Nu then stayed silent for a moment thinking about something.
"Besides staying with you forever, I've been thinking about us owning a pet."
A few hours later
Zee was at the local animal shelter and he asked the animal care person (I don't know how to call the workers at animal shelter) about a certain grey tabby cat.
"This little guy was left on the streets when he was a kitten. No one has adopted him yet."
Zee felt bad for the grey tabby cat so he told the animal service worker that he wanted to adopt him. Zee then filled the paperwork required and soon he brought the cat home. He them put the cat in a decorated box with holes for oxygen and put food, water, and toys for him inside.
Christmas morning
Zee eventually woke up and he woke up Nunew after giving him a kiss.
"Merry Christmas honey."
"Merry Christmas Hia"
They exchanged a few more kisses and they went down to the living room to unwrap presents. Zee's present to Nunew came first.
"Hia, what's this supposed to be?"
"Try guessing what it is."
Nu then attempted to shake the gift but Zee stopped him before he shook it.
"No shaking."
Nu pouted and guessed it was a hat, a scarf, or a purse, but none of those guesses were correct. Nu then opened the gift and his eyes immediately teared up and he gasped.

"It's a cat!"
"I was thinking about what you said yesterday and I decided to get you a pet cat."
"I love you Hia"
"I love you too Nu. What will you name the cat?"
"Hmmmmm..... July"
A few months later
Unfortunately, July seemed to show no interest or love for Nu. However, on one day, July was no where to be seen in the house.
"HIA!"
"Nu, what's wrong?!"
"July is missing!"
"Don't worry, we'll find him." Zee then hugged Nu, who started crying.
Meanwhile
A certain cat was in a box in an alley meowing for help. The cat also injured his leg. The cat then snuggled up in the corner of the box.
Zee and Nunew put up missing posters. They eventually decided to split up in hopes of July being found earlier. After a few hours, Nu was starting to lose hope and he dropped to his knees and started crying. Until he heard....
*Meow*
Nu heard the meow from the nearest alley and ran towards it. He then saw a box and he opened it. July then looked at Nunew as he picked him out of the box. Nunew then wrapped him in the blanket he brought and noticed that July had an injured leg. They were just about to leave to find Zee when...
"Hey pretty...."
The voice immediately startled Nunew. He then saw a guy in the back of the alley coming towards him.
"What are you doing here? This place is too dangerous for a pretty boy such as yourself."
"I'm.... I'm just going to leave if that's ok." Nu then turned to leave when the guy pulled his hair back.
"OW!"
"Oh, leaving so soon? What do you say about having a little fun with me?' His hands immediate started grabbing Nunew's waist and behind.
"Stop touching me!"
"Hehehehe, no one will help you. Now you're mine."
The man eventually went to grab the blanket in Nunew's arms, when......
"Hey!" The man looked behind Nunew and saw Zee. Zee then went up to the man and punched him. "Nu, run!"
Nunew then started to run out of the alley with the injured July in his arms. The guy then started following him until Nunew eventually ran into a police officer. The police officer then arrested the guy and Nunew led the police to Zee, who got injured in the fight. Thankfully his injuries were minor injuries. Zee then noticed that July was injured and he drove the straight to the vet. In the examination room, Nu was comforting July as the vet was treating his injuries. They were then discharged with medicine and ointment for July.
A few days later
July's leg was healed and one night, Nu placed July in his bed as he and Zee went to sleep. However, at midnight, Nu noticed that July was in the bed as well due to his tail brushing on his face. Nu said nothing and hugged July and July snuggled back. Over the course of a few months, July became very attached to Nunew, making him and Zee very happy. Of course July became a bit fussy and sassy when it came to vet visits, Mondays, and being carried by Nunew. However, Nunew couldn't be more happier with this Christmas gift that Zee gave him, even though he has given Nunew so many great presents. July may be the best Christmas Present in the whole wide world
