The sun was beginning to dip below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the Aeronian Castle. Alejandro stood on the balcony of his bedroom, staring out at the sprawling gardens below, lost in thought. His heart was heavy, and the silence of the evening felt oppressive. Just behind him, the door creaked open, and Leonardo stepped out, leaning against the frame with a casual air.

"You look like you could use a drink," Leonardo said, holding out a glass of amber liquid. Alejandro turned to face his friend, his expression etched with weariness. "Thanks," he murmured, accepting the glass with a grateful nod.

Leonardo stepped aside, allowing Alejandro to move closer to the railing. "What is on your mind?" he asked gently.

Alejandro took a sip of the whiskey, feeling the warmth spread through his chest. "It is Adanna," he confessed, his voice heavy with unspoken emotion. "I have been avoiding her."

"¡¿Qué?! ¿Qué pasó? ¿Están peleando?!" Leonardo's voice was filled with surprise and concern as Alejandro took another swig of whiskey, his eyes never leaving the horizon. (What?! What happened? Are you fighting?!)

"No, it is not like that," Alejandro sighed, his gaze faraway. "I have been... well, I have been struggling..."

"¿Luchando con qué?" Leonardo's eyes searched Alejandro's, trying to gauge the severity of his struggle. (Struggling with what?)

"Adanna," Alejandro replied, his voice barely above a whisper. "I do not know how to be a husband to her. Las expectativas, la intimidad... todo es tan nuevo para mí. Y llevo seis días haciéndola esperar, y me siento horrible por ello. Debería estar emocionada, pero en cambio, estoy aterrorizada". (The expectations, the intimacy... it's all so new to me. And I've been keeping her waiting for six days, and I feel horrible about it. I should be excited, but instead, I'm terrified.)

"Pensé que podría manejarlo, pero nunca antes había estado en una situación como esta. Quiero estar cerca de ella, pero pensar en... ¿qué pasa si la decepciono?" Alejandro confessed, his grip tightening around the whiskey glass. (I thought I could handle it, but I have never been in a situation like this. I want to be close to her, but thinking about... what if I disappoint her?)

Leonardo raised an eyebrow, stepping closer to his friend. "¿Decepcionar? Alejandro, estás siendo demasiado duro contigo mismo. La amas, ¿verdad?" (Disappoint? Alejandro, you're being too hard on yourself. You love her, right?)

Alejandro nodded, his eyes brimming with emotion. "Sí, la amo con todo mi ser." (Yes, I love her with all my being.)

Leonardo clapped him on the back, his expression understanding. "Entonces, la intimidad será natural. Tienes que confiar en ello." (Then, intimacy will come naturally. You just have to trust it.)

"Pero,¿y si no soy lo que ella quiere?" Alejandro asked, his voice filled with doubt. (But what if I am not what she wants?)

"La intimidad es algo más que la mera fisicalidad", Leonardo reassured him as he leaned on the railing. "Se trata de confianza, conexión y de ser vulnerables el uno con el otro. Si la amas, eso ya es un gran paso en la dirección correcta." (Intimacy is more than just physicality. It is about trust, connection, and being vulnerable with each other. If you love her, that is a big step in the right direction.)

"¿Has hablado con ella sobre lo que sientes?" Leonardo's voice was gentle but firm, cutting through Alejandro's thoughts like a knife through butter. (Have you talked to her about how you feel?)

Alejandro shook his head. "No, no he hablado con ella. Temo que... no sé qué le diría." (I have not talked to her. I am afraid I do not know what to say.)

"Comienza por ser honesto," Leonardo suggested. "Dile lo que sientes. A Ambos merecen compartir sus miedos e inseguridades. Puede que incluso los acerque más." (Start by being honest. Tell her what you are feeling. Both of you deserve to share your fears and insecurities. It might even bring you closer.)

Alejandro took a deep breath, letting the words sink in. He knew Leonardo was right. "Gracias." He took another sip of whiskey, the warmth of the drink doing little to chase away the chill of his fears. "I will talk to her tonight," he decided, his resolve solidifying with every beat of his heart.

"De nada. La vida es realmente inesperada. Todavía estoy esperando el permiso para casarme con Serena, pero estoy ayudando a un hombre casado con consejos." Leonardo's voice held a hint of amusement, but his eyes were serious as he watched Alejandro struggle with his thoughts. (You are welcome. Life is really unpredictable. I am still waiting for permission to marry Serena, but here I am giving marriage advice to a married man.)

Alejandro let out a small chuckle. "Me voy ahora tengo que hablar con ella." (I'm leaving now, I have to talk to her.)

He gave Leonardo a firm nod before making his way out of the castle and towards the griffin stable. The sun had almost set, casting the world in shades of purple and pink. The griffins were restless, sensing the tension in the air. He approached Aetheris and mounted the majestic creature, feeling the familiar comfort of the beast beneath him.

As Aetheris took off, Alejandro felt a strange mix of excitement and dread. He knew he had to talk to Adanna about his fears, but the thought of facing them aloud was terrifying. The wind whipped through his hair as they soared over the countryside, and Alejandro took a deep breath, trying to steady himself for the conversation ahead. He had avoided her for too long, and he knew she deserved better.
