"Is it true that your name is Evelyn Balsa?" An agent asked Evvy.

"Yes," she replied.

"How old are you?"

"Twenty two years and seven months sir." The agent scribbled something down on a notepad.

"You are in. Read this sheet," said the agent. Then he stood up, and walked right out of the door without another word.

Name: Evelyn Balsa

Code Name: Gina

Mission: Shapiro Fortune. Fortune lost centuries ago. Worth millions. Belongs to Josefina Shapiro.

Partners: Juan Cardamom

Comments: Meet Ms. Shapiro. Fast.

Evvy pulled her coat on and walked outside, the letter tucked into her pocket. What a coincidence that her first mission was to help Josefina. Or, her and Juan's first mission, whoever Juan was. She was supposed to meet him soon.

Twelve years earlier:

Two men sat at a table.

"We need the fortune." The first one said.

"Yes. I know that Lupe knows where it is. We need to lay our hands on it before Josefina can find it," said the second.

"This Lupe will not back down easily. We may have to kill her, or she will get away with the treasure."

"I can make her give up her secrets."

"Yes. Please do."

"What's in it for me?"

"The fortune. If you don't find it, well then you get nothing."

"Fine. But I get a fair share."

They shook on it.

                                                 LUPE: "HE TRICKED ME."

Last night, at 11:00 PM, some gruesome things happened at 6283 Park Place. Lupe Shapiro let a 23-year old man into her house. "He was here for a reason, but I couldn't lay a finger on it," Lupe said. At 12:45, Lupe and the man known as "Jack" got busy trying to track a missing treasure.

"I didn't slip." Lupe said. "I didn't."

Jack almost swindled Lupe out of her family fortune, but Jack was driving an unlicensed car. Before the police could grab him, he jumped out the door. He ran off, without any really useful information, and Lupe sat there wondering how she could've been tricked that easily. Lupe took a quick interview with CNN, saying,

"I've been tricked before, but nothing has ever slighted me as much as this has."

Two weeks later, Lupe got into a deadly car accident with a black unlicensed car. The driver made it out alive and ran away. Lupe died in Northrop Hospital two months later of lung damage.

Onlookers said that the man who was driving the car looked suspicious, like the Jack that has been all over the news lately.

Lupe's funeral is on the 22nd, and her mother, Josefina, invites everyone to come at 5:30 to celebrate her life.

"I thought that when Juan lost his job, that that would be the worst blow. No, my daughter was definitely the worst. I would rather die than this. My Lupe does not deserve this," said Josefina. "My Lupe is still in the hospital, responding to the treatments and doing well. My Lupe is not underground."
