The Meeting of the Strange Man

Author's note: I do not own Polly, Laila, Professor Modzilla or Aphmau, they all belong to the youtuber, Aphmau aka Jess, now that THAT is out of the way, let's get this show on the road! I can't believe what I saw that day, a man with skeletal wings. Oh I suppose I need to introduce myself, I'm Professor Polly but you can just call me Polly and this is the story of how I met that man. I was working in the lab one night and I looked out the window and saw another scientist and he had very strange skeletal wings and he seemed to be doing some research on a new mod that we haven't tested yet, the Orespawn mod, I saw him take out a striped spawn egg and When he opened it, a very fat man came out of it and he was locked up and when he hit this man, he took what he was holding at that time, which was a stick and the man took out a strange black and red sword and slew the fat man, causing emeralds and the stick to drop from him and when he left, I went home and went to sleep and the next morning I ran over to Aphmau's house and rang the doorbell frantically "APHMAU!! APHMAU!!" I screamed, waiting for her to get to the door and when she opened it I asked her "Can I come in and tell you something?" To which she responded "Sure, Polly, what is it?" She asked me and I told her about the man and then said "I don't know how to introduce myself to him." Then Aphmau mocked me by singing "Polly has a crush on the new guy!" Which really irritated me "SHUT UP!! NO I DON'T" I told her, clearly angered thanks to her snarky comment "Sure you don't, come on let's go talk to him together!" Aphmau said to me, dragging me with her as she sprinted to his lab. When we got there she opened the door and saw him listening to music, bobbing his head and writing some notes about something "Go talk to him." Aphmau said to me "Are you kidding?" I asked her thinking she was crazy "How about I go up to him and say hi with you?" Aphmau said to me, reassuring me "Please do." I told her. "Okay come on." She said to me as we went up to him "Yes?" He said without even looking up "Um how did you know?" Aphmau asked before being cut off mid sentence by the man "I heard you come in and I heard you whispering." He said to her. "Oh, well I'm." Aphmau said before getting cut off again "Aphmau I would assume? My name is Lightning Striker." He said and shook her hand and then he looked at me, causing me to blush "Oh and who is this lovely lady?" He said to me as he kissed my hand causing me to blush even more "I'm Professor Polly, but you can just call me Polly if you want!" I told him, very shy and awkward around him. "Polly. What a lovely name." He said as Aphmau whispered to me "I think he likes you~" in a singsong voice "I can hear you, you realize that right?" He said, causing Aphmau to go paler than a ghast "Yes" said Aphmau, obviously lying "You had no clue did you?" Said Striker, basically burning her "anyway Polly, do you maybe want to go out sometime?" He asked Did he just ask me out after we first met?! That takes guts! "Sure, I'd love to." I answered kindly "Great! Where do you want to go?" He asked me and I asked Aphmau "Did you fix the bistro yet?" To which she responded "Yeah I did but do you want to go there after last time?" She asked me. "If I didn't would I have asked?" I said "Good point." Aphmau responded "A bistro sounds great, so how about Tonight at say 8?" He asked me "Sure." I responded to him and after flesh and muscle and feathers grew on his skeletal wings "I'll get my suit ready for the date then." He said "Okay." I told him nervously as I ran to Laila to have her help me get an outfit ready come 8 "Laila you have to help me, I have a date with the new scientist!" I told her before she told me "Say no more. I have the perfect outfit!" She said as she pulled out a beautiful dress "Voilà!" She said as she revealed the dress and we got it on me just in time "It's 8! I gotta go!" I said running out the door and running to the bistro "Hey, just in time. Shall we enter?" He asked as we went inside and Aphmau was waiting for us and took us to our table and we sat down and he actually pulled out my chair for me and pushed it in too, such a gentleman he was and we were making conversation then Laila and tommy came in, the mayor and his girlfriend came in and last and most annoying, Professor Modzilla "Hey wing boy! What are you doing here with Polly?" Modzilla yelled at striker "I am out on a date with her obviously" "She is mine!!" He said to striker "No, modzilla, we are not together anymore!" I said to him and he prepared to explode "But I still love you Polly" he said "Not enough" said striker and Modzilla was about to explode "DUCK AND COVER" I screamed as striker created a steel feather shield around the 2 of us, causing us to not be injured by the explosion and afterwards he won my heart just like that. "You just protected me from his explosion." I told him "Well of course I did, I didn't want you injured in any way" he said to me "Really? Wow..."
