Basketball Dreams

Every since Johnny was little and saw the boys and girls in his old neighborhood play basketball he had a dream. He has asked Jaquelin if there was any kind of park or basketball court that he could go to that was around the Adoption Center. Jaquelin explained that it was dangerous for him to go out of the Adoption Center alone and that he could only got when a staff took him or when the whole center went on a min trip. It was 2 days until the Adoption Center was going on a mini trip. Jaquelin encouraged Johnny to meet new friends and to have a great time. She hoped that Johnny wouldn't get picked on by any of the boys that went to the park everyday. Johnny went to bed a 10:30p.m. after having a long talk with Jaquelin. The next day he woke up and there was a lady in his dorm folding clothes. Once she noticed that he was woke she greeted him. " Hello, My name is Rebeca." said Rebeca. Johnny introduced himself. She had told him that she worked at the Adoption Center everyday for a part time job to raise money so her mom could get a cure for Cancer. It was a good thing her mom had 4 years left to live because Rebeca was 2,000 dollars away. Finally the staff loaded everyone on to the Adoption Center bus. Once they got to their first stop Johnny spotted a basketball court. He was eager to play but he didn't have a basketball. " Can you lone me a basketball? " Johnny asked one of the male staff. The male staff who's name was Mike gave him a basketball. He taught Johnny plenty of tricks and soon he was as good as Mike.
