"Another shot?" Darius asks, pulling Zac's attention away from Fatima.
Zac glances at him before leaning forward and grabbing his glass. "Yeah."
Darius takes the Hennessy bottle out of the ice bucket and pours them both shots. Zac leans back, cradling the glass in his hand as he sips it slowly, savoring the burn.
"You like this one," Darius says, watching Zac closely.
Zac raises an eyebrow at him but doesn't respond right away. Darius waits, his expression expectant, until Zac finally nods.
"I do," he admits.
"And he admits it!" Darius exclaims dramatically, feigning shock.
Zac chuckles softly, shaking his head at his friend's antics.
Just then, Fatima returns, sliding into the seat beside Zac with a satisfied grin on her face. "I like it here," she announces, her eyes still on the stage where another dancer is taking her turn.
"You do?" Zac asks, tilting his head as he looks at her.
"Yeah," she says, turning toward him with a sly smirk. Without hesitation, she throws one leg over his, wedging herself closer, and grabs his face, pulling him into a deep kiss.
Zac responds immediately, his hand slipping to her thigh, gripping it firmly as he kisses her back.
The conversation at the table halts. Joe and Kenny stop mid-laugh, and Darius freezes with his glass halfway to his lips. The three exchange stunned glances, their eyes darting back to the couple.
It wasn't just the kiss—it was how Zac let her in so easily, how comfortable he looked with her draped over him, her hand on his face like she owned it. Zac wasn't the type to let anyone into his space, let alone show this much affection in public.
"Bro..." Kenny whispers to Joe, his tone laced with disbelief.
Joe just shakes his head, his jaw slack as he stares at them.
Fatima finally pulls back, a satisfied smile on her face as she stays perched in Zac's lap. "You okay?" she teases, her fingers brushing over his jaw.
Zac smirks, his thumb rubbing slow circles on her thigh. "Never better."
Darius clears his throat, trying to mask his surprise. "Well... damn."
Fatima glances over at the guys, finally noticing their stunned expressions. "What?" she asks innocently, leaning back against Zac, completely unbothered.
"Nothing." Kenny shakes his head, grinning now. "I like her."
Joe nods in agreement. "Same."
Zac chuckles, glancing at his friends. "Yeah, me too."
The guys' faces freeze in pure shock. Kenny's jaw drops, and Joe blinks like he just heard something unbelievable. Kenny lets out a low whistle, shaking his head as he mutters, "Man, I never thought I'd see the day."
Fatima, caught off guard by Zac's casual yet genuine confession, finds herself smiling despite the flutter in her chest. Her gaze shifts to Zac, who's already looking at her, calm and unbothered by his friends' reactions.
She clears her throat lightly, breaking the moment. "Can you hand me my martini, please?" she asks, her tone casual as if nothing just happened.
Zac doesn't hesitate for a second. He reaches for her martini glass, careful not to spill any of the drink, and hands it to her. "Here," he says, his voice low.
"Thank you," Fatima says, the words rolling off her tongue with a teasing lilt. Her eyes lock with his, and the playful smirk on her lips makes his gaze darken.
