It had been a few weeks since Skulker attacked, and you had decided it was important to work on your athletics more. You had started by building your stamina by doing morning runs which consisted of you running around the block. Danny had caught you making your runs one Sunday and had transformed to fly over you.

He hadn't made himself known until you caught his shadow from the morning sun. "Danny!" you shouted out at him, halting in her steps. The ghost boy tried to turn invisible at his name, but it was too late; you were staring him down with your ghostly green eyes. Danny smiled sheepishly at you as he floated down to your frame.

"Hey! (Y/N)...!" Danny said as you stared at him with a raised eyebrow. "W-What are you doing?"

You had wanted to ask him the same thing, but then you tried to look at the situation from Danny's point of view. "Well... I figured if we are going to be fighting ghosts, I should try to stay in shape..."

"Oh, uh..." Danny said taking a second to think. "I thought you were running from some ghost or something... It didn't look like a casual run..." Danny smiled sheepishly at you before you felt your cheeks flame. Okay so you weren't normally a runner, but you had just started and hoped you didn't look like a newbie.

"Geez, way to rub it in Danny," You mumbled before Danny immediately felt bad. "Anyway... I figured it would be smart to try and stay fit just a bit..."

"I didn't mean it like that!" Danny said raising his hands up in defense. "You know what? Let me make it up to you, come by later today and I can join you with a workout." You blinked but then smiled softly.

"Is this your way of saying, '(Y/N) is right and maybe I should exercise too?'" You asked causing a blush to rise on the boy's cheeks as he flushed at you. "Mhmm, okay throw in one glass of your famous grape juice and I'm in." You left Danny with that, continuing on your way for your run.

Technically you had been over to Fenton Works many times with Danny, one-on-one, but this was different considering you guys were going to be pushing your limits with working out. You had decided to go over in a pair of black spandex and a (F/C) t-shirt.

As you walked up the steps, the front door was pulled open by Danny, who was in his gym clothes. The both of you gave one another a smile, before planning a running route to start off. This became routine for you guys for the next few days and caused both of you to feel better physically, as well as bond with one another.

It was Thursday now and after a round of running, Danny had brought you down to the lab where Mr. Fenton was working on some new invention. You had been sitting down there for an hour or so before deciding you were over water and wanted some juice. Danny had some already considering his eating habits hadn't changed like yours with the new exercise. He smiled saying he would be right back running upstairs with his glass after you had threatened to drink his that he barely had sipped from.

"Ah ha!" You turned to see Mr. Fenton had a vacuum-looking contraption slung over his shoulder with a hose connected to a vacuum head. "Hey, Danny!" Your head turned back to look and see Danny had come back downstairs looking upset and empty-handed. You remembered to ask him about it later as Mr. Fenton continued, "Check out my latest innovation in ghost-grabbing technology, the Ghost Weasel! It collects ambient ghost energy and shoots it into the Ghost Zone."

Your head turned to the side to eye the Ghost Portal before looking back over to Mr. Fenton. "Does it work?" Danny asked genuinely as you walked over to stand beside him.

"Why wouldn't it? Only one way to find out," Mr. Fenton says before he turns on the Ghost Weasel. It had a very powerful suction and was causing Mr. Fenton to lose his hold on the hose, causing it to suck up loose paper. Danny had grabbed your arm pulling you closer to him as he took cover behind his father so the two of you wouldn't get hurt by the metal vacuum. Mr. Fenton moved the suction away from the two of you causing it to pull the Fenton Thermos off of the counter next to a bunch of beakers and into the Ghost Weasel clogging it.
