Reaching home from accompanying Taeyeon, Tiffany plopped down on her bed with a smile that she couldn't seem to get off her face since separating from Taeyeon.

She got to spend a whole half an hour with Taeyeon, talking to her, joke lightly with her. Of course, she had to be careful when asking about her life. She didn't want to offend Taeyeon by saying or asking the wrong things and cause her to shut her down.

She wanted to get to know Taeyeon. She wanted to be a friend to her.

When she got her phone out, there was a new message there from Sunny. "You owe me some explanations."

Furrowing her eyebrows, Tiffany replied, "What explanations?"

Within a few seconds, a call from Sunny came through and she answered it. "I have no idea what you're saying," Tiffany told Sunny truthfully. She stood up from her bed and walked to her dresser to pick out some clothes for her to change to.

"You've been acting weird these few days."

Tiffany placed her phone onto the bed after pressing on the loudspeaker function. She began to shed off her clothes. "I should be telling that to you. You're the one that's been acting weird."

"Well, that's because you're the one being all weird!"

"You're not even making any sense now." She put on the sweatpants and t-shirt that she grabbed, picked up her phone and placed it next to her ear. Lying down on the bed, she sighed out at the softness of the mattress.

"Look, I'm totally talking about Taeyeon, okay. You're acting weird because of her."

"What?"

"Why are you suddenly so interested in her? Don't even deny it, Fany. I saw how you watch her and how distracted you were when she wasn't in school."

Tiffany gulped, "I did no such things."

"Of course you would deny. I totally expected that. So, what now, are you interested in her?"

"What?" Tiffany exclaimed a little too loudly. She scolded herself in her mind for having such a big reaction. Now Sunny definitely would think that something's going on. "I'm not... I'm not... I don't have any feelings for her."

"I didn't ask if you have any feelings for her. I asked if you're interested in her. But now you totally answered my question."

Tiffany blushed, "You're just twisting my words around!"

The other line was silent for a while that made Tiffany thought that maybe Sunny had walked off or something. "...What about Jake?"

At that, Tiffany bit her lip in guilt. She hadn't contacted the boy much these few days. It wasn't just because of the time difference that they couldn't call much. Even when texting, Tiffany didn't really reply much or would take a long time before replying.

The most important factor was that, the flutters that she felt every time she saw the boy's name appearing on her phone were now gone.

"I... Uhh..."

Sunny sighed, "It's none of my business. But as your best friend, I think I should give you some advice. What you're feeling towards Taeyeon right now? It's probably just temporary."

"What do you mean?" Tiffany asked, slightly offended.

"You're curious, Fany. You want to know her because of the accident. You're probably feeling pity towards her because of what happened to her. I understand, alright? I'm curious too, but I don't think this is the right way."
