The next few days were weird, at least for Tiffany. Taeyeon didn't attend school, and for some reason, Tiffany kept on thinking of the possibilities on why the shorter girl wasn't in school. Also, even when she knew for sure that Taeyeon wasn't in class, her eyes still kept on drifting to her seat and the door - hoping that the girl would turn up somehow but knowing that the possibility of that happening was very low.
"Hey," She felt a sudden nudge when she was doodling aimlessly on a sheet of paper.
She turned to see Sunny looking at her with a raised eyebrow. "You alright?"
She nodded and returned to what she was doing, Sunny frowned at being ignored by her friend. It wasn't normal, actually. Tiffany had always been an attentive straight A student and seeing how restless she was while their teacher was teaching, Sunny couldn't help but to worry.
A buzz from her phone broke Tiffany out of her thoughts before she took out the device from her pocket. "Are you sure you're fine? Because you don't look like it to me." She read the message from Sunny.
Turning to her friend, she looked at the shorter girl with a questioning gaze while Sunny nodded at her phone, telling her to reply through the device.
"Yes, I'm fine. What makes you think that I'm not?"
"Well, for one, you're totally not paying attention to the lesson. Second, you seem to have a lot on your mind these few days. And also, you're drawing on the assignment that the teacher just gave us."
Shocked at what she read, Tiffany looked down with wide eyes to see drawings all over her assignment. She groaned, and the teacher seemed to have heard it as she stopped talking to address Tiffany. "Is something the matter, Miss Hwang?"
"N-no, ma'am." She replied, surprised at being called out.
The teacher returned to her teaching and Tiffany looked down at her paper with a pout. She heard giggling from next to her and turned to glare at Sunny who was stifling her laughter.
"You're lending me your assignment to photocopy!" She typed with a huff.

Tiffany couldn't be more thankful when the bell finally rang, signalling that it was time for lunch. She quickly dragged her shorter friend out of the classroom even before Sunny could keep her notebook in her bag.
Ignoring the protest from Sunny, the taller girl practically sped walked all the way to the cafeteria, immediately spotting Yuri at one of the tables. She went to Yuri and greeted her friend before tossing her bag onto the chair.
"I have to go to the washroom," She told her friends, smiling sheepishly as Sunny rolled her eyes.
After she was done with her business, Tiffany walked out of the washroom. As she was about to head to the cafeteria again, a certain raven-haired girl caught her attention.
Tiffany stopped in her track as she stared at Taeyeon with a frown. So, the girl did come to school today, she thought to herself. She watched on as Taeyeon steadied the books in her arms with difficulty while digging through her locker.
"Excuse me," She heard someone say before she looked away to apologise and move away from blocking the person's way.
Once her eyes went back to Taeyeon, she was surprised to see the latter staring back at her. Blinking a few times, Tiffany blushed. She didn't know if she had been caught staring at Taeyeon. Maybe she had, and maybe now Taeyeon had thought that Tiffany was one of those obnoxious people that kept on watching her. To be honest, that wasn't wrong since Tiffany did watch Taeyeon the previous times, but she certainly didn't want the shorter girl to think of her that way.
