Ch 2: Liar!

Roul's POV

Finally I saved Christine and now we are on our way. I look over at her. "Hey it's going to be alright Daee." I put an arm around her shoulder and pulled her in for a kiss.

Christine's POV
Agh why is he kissing me?! Now of all the times to kiss me is now. I pull away and I realize the reason why he kissed me is because I was crying. He pulled me back and said, " Christine?? What's wrong?? You're safe now I will protect you." I take a big breath and say, " Roul, I'm sorry but I don't love you in that way, I love you as a brother. I love Erik."
"I tried to come over everyday to see you!" Roul objected.

"You were never there for me when my father died Erik was! You NEVER came by and asked me if I was alright. I know this is hard but I love him."
Roul started to get frustrated. "You were afraid of him! What makes u think he'll protect u??"
"He takes very good care of me, you never did. He was always there when I needed someone to be there for me. You weren't Roul!" I turn and run back. "Erik? Erik?!" I look around. Where is he?? I just slump down next to the wall and start crying.

Erik's POV
What is that noise?? I wonder. I follow the noise back to Christine. She is crying on the floor. I go and sit next to her. "Christine?? My love what's wrong??" She wiped away her tears and turned her head away from me. "I left him." She said only a whisper.  I pull her up and pull her in for a hug. I hold her until she has stopped crying. I look her in the eyes. I pull her in for a kiss.

Christine's POV
His lips are so soft and his kiss is tender. He isn't rushing things. I realize. I put my hand around his neck and pull him closer so our body's are touching. He pulls back. He wipes away my tear. "I love you. I always have and I always will Christine." That makes me cry harder. He loves me. But why?? Why does he love me? He picks me up and I know we are headed for the bedroom. Am I ready??
