"Fine. We will talk but only if you let me sort out that shoulder of yours considering I have already seen you in a weak state before." I tell him. He gives me a glare and turns around to start walking.

"At least I don't mind looking at my own blood." He comes back. We walk into the living room where surprisingly no one is. I look at him and tester for him to sit down whilst I go in search of a first aid kit. When I find one I walk back to the sofa he is on and sit next to him.

"I need you to take your shirt off." I mutter my cheeks flaring red. He coughs before slowly taking it off. When his arms start reach above his head his eyes flash in hurt. Taking a deep breath I lean over to help him. I peel his top away and notice that he has at least bandaged it up. Working quickly I unwrap the bandage. "So are we going to talk? Or just sit in silence?" I ask taking the bandage away from the wound. It looks like a gun shot so I turn my head to look at the back of his shoulder. "Wait... Hold on that question. Please tell me you took the bullet out." I ask. He stays silent and I groan. I take the first aid kit and look for some tweezers.

"So who is Millie's dad? Some guy you had been dating whilst being with me? Or some guy you met and had a one night stand with." He asks. I find some tweezers and peel back the broken skin so I can see the bullet. I then put the tweezers in to pull it out. Air hisses between his clenched teeth.

"You are such a hypocrite. In our first month of being together I saw you with Pat. I never said anything to you but I talked to Pat and she said it was the one time. But what if she got pregnant? And then you went around sleeping with girls when I left. So you don't get that right." I tell him and then yank out the bullet. He flinches.

"I might have but at least I was careful." He says. My anger boils and I glare at him.

"The only person I wasn't careful with was you... I stayed loyal to you over these four years. I have never once slept with another guy. Why? Because I love you. But I didn't tell you when I got back because you have Ellen now. And Ellen's mom. I didn't want to be the one to ruin it." I take out the needle and thread joining them together and tying a not. He takes a deep breath.

"Ellen isn't mine. She is Ellen," his voice cracks, "She is Ellen's daughter. She died giving birth to her. I then said I would look after her, because I didn't want her to be growing up with parents like mine. I named her Ellen in memory of her mother." He tells me. I hover over his wound with my needle and thread over his wound. I look at him.

"You are such and idiot." I mutter. And then I start to sew his wound up. We stay silent, but knowing that Ellen isn't actually his brings me a sense of calmness. Just when I finish sewing his wound he seems to gasp.

"Shit." He mutters. I pull away and look at him and he stares back. "Mille is mine... Isn't she?" He whispers.

"She's yours. Blood and all." I tell him. I then stand up and walk out, leaving him there alone.

I wake up someone breathing down my neck and their arm slung around my waist. I turn around to face Pete and I curl up into his body and wrap my arms around him.

"Hey don't cry." He whispers wrapping his arms around me. I only now notice the water coming from my eyes and landing on his shoulders.

"I just... I guess I always thought that when I told him he would understand. Get everything straight away." I tell him between silent sobs. I feel Pete stroking my hair.

"I know... But Hal, you told him. He deserved to know and now that he does it is up to him what he does with the information." He informs me. I nod and sit up. I wipe my eyes dry and awing my legs over the bed.

"Thank you for understanding." I whisper.

"Took me awhile to, but I understand the majority of it. And I'm sure if and when you're ready to tell me the rest you will." He tells me. I smile even though he can't see it and stand up.

"Thanks. Now I have to get up and get munchkin up. Unless you want to be an amazing uncle and do it?" I ask cheekily. He looks down,

"I uh... I have never actually been good with children." He mutters. I walk around the bed to him and ruffle his hair.

"I was joking, but there is always a time to learn." I tell him. He gives me a smile and I turn and walk out. Will comes out the guest room opposite me at the same time. He looks like he is about to say something but I shake my head and I then walk down the hall to Millie's room. I had hoped that he would've guessed yesterday when he heard her name, because Millie is the name of his Grandma, who practically raised him and Ellen. I walk into Ellen's room to see a demonic standing in the corner of the room and a gun pointed at her head. Millie is sitting still crying and fear covering her face.

"Move and I'll shoot." He says. I just look at him.

"You don't scare me." I tell him. He looks at me, and the dark corner he was in disappears around him as he walks out.

"How about now?" The new ruler of the demonics asks.

"No... Still don't scare me." I say nodding my head. His eyes grow brighter and he pulls the safety off the gun.

"You should be scared of me." He growls.

"I think you mean to say that you should be scared of me." He chuckles at my comment,

"And why is that?"

"Because I'm scared of me. So who knows what I can do."

"Oh I know what you can do. I wonder how that poor girl felt when an arrow landed right in between her eyes." My heart clenches at the memories and what is left of my walls fall apart.

"Technically I didn't kill her. Your people did by making her what she is."

"Oh, your stupid hunter brain. You just say that so you can sleep at night."

"I say that everyday because despite what I think I know it isn't true. You can't win this. You aren't strong enough." I tell him. He moves the gun and points it at me.

"No mommy." Millie whispers. I wave at her to be quiet.

"I'll make sure that your daughter watches you die slowly before I kill her after." He smirks. He points the gun at my stomach and shoots. I try to dodge it but I miss. Millie screams which means that hopefully the others will have heard. I fall to the floor just as the demonic points his gun at Millie's. The edges of my vision fuzzes, but the door opens and another gun shot goes off. There is some loud shouting and the smashing of glass but everything seems to be really distant. Will rushes in front of my vision,

"Hal. Hal, stay with me. Keep your eyes open." He mumbles loud enough for me to hear, but I can't and I close my eyes.
