* Shay's P.O.V. *
I look tense up when I hear someone coming towards the kitchen where I am, but breathe a sigh of relief when I only see Marco, who sends me a questioning look.
"What is wrong with you?"
"I'm damn nervous man. What if she chooses to throw us both out of her life? I absolutely love her and can't live without having her in our lives."
Marco looks at me in astonishment it's rare that I show my nervousness, but right now it's not possible for me to hide it. But I know that my brother has feel exactly the same way, we are both nervous wreck for the upcoming conversation, but we have to do this, because if we do nothing then I am almost 100% certain that she will drop both of us. And I have to know if there is any chance for Alicia will agree to be the most important person in our lives. I can't help but admire my brother, he has gone up and down by Alicia for over a year now. How he has been able to contain himself is beyond me. I've only known her for two months and is about to go crazy, and the idea that, today may be the day we can lose her if we don't do this correctly, is driving me crazy. My thoughts are interrupted as the sound of footsteps sound against at the entrance to the kitchen, and Alicia's voice sounds.
"You have many pictures here, you and Shay have really known each other all your lives, there is an picture of two very young boys and I bet it is you and him.
Both I and Marco turn alerted to the door and stare at Alicia who wildly stare back and forth on us. I look at my brother and get eye contact with him, and it is clear that he feels exactly the same as I do.
"Shay?! What on earth are you doing here?!"
She asks, and I can see at her flickering eyes, that she doesn't know which of us she is suppose to looking at, but I want her to forget the uncertainty she exhibits right now, so I gently smile at her before I go and pull her into my arms and muttering.
"Hello Angel, have you missed me as much as I missed you?"
I felt the moment I pulled her into my arms she melted against me, but a few seconds later she froze, and I understood why when she turned her head to look at Marco, she felt uncomfortable in this situation. Marco emerges when I let go of her and takes her hand.
"Licia, we have to talk, I know that we probably have made you incredibly confused in the recent months. And I hope that we can get it resolved today, because frankly I hate that you feel that you need to be as formal and call me mr. DiAngelo. So please sit down with me and Shay so we can talk about the situation."
I see redness rise in Alicia's cheeks as she stares wildly back and forth at us before she exclaims.
"They were right."
I look confused at my brother to see if he understands what she talking about, but as he shakes his head, I look again at Alicia.
"Who was right? And were right about what?"
"My friends ... They said I talked."
I squinted my eyes, it could come as no surprise to her that we talked together. We hadn't told her that we were brothers, but had told her we were best friends, and she had to know that we as friends chatted together. Marco put a hand on Alicia's lower back, and said kindly.
"Come Licia, let's go into the living room and sits."
And Licia came willingly, it was obvious that she was still a little confused. I took the drinks that Marco had made before I followed them into the room. Where Marco had sat on the big couch with Alicia beside him, and made room for me on the other side of her where I sat immediately. Alicia look confused back and forth between us.
