Chapter25: the hills

             Bree point of view.
I was at devins house watching tv with Lexi, when I got a call from Kevin.

Bree- sup kev
Kevin- ( silent)
Bree- hello, Kevin you there

I heard a crash in the background and the phone hung up. Oh no, what just happened. I got up and quickly drove to Kevin's house, I knocked on it, and no answer, but it was unlocked, I walked in and saw him on the floor, I ran over to him and sat on his lap facing him, he looked high, eyes red barely looking in my direction.

Bree- ( crying) Kevin no, please, can you hear me

I shook his head and slightly smacked him.

Bree- ( crying) no!!! Please, why Kevin!!!! I love you

I called the ambulances and they came 5 minutes later, and immediately took him to the hospital while I road in my car calling everyone including his parents and sister. They came the same time I did as I ran over to the counter.

Bree- looking for Kevin Alston

Bree- thank you

I ran to the room where he was strapped in wires, my heart dropped, his mom ran over to him and cried, I stood by the door, trying to control my crying as I felt hands around my waist, I knew it was Devin. He confirmed me.

Devin- ( hugs her) it's okay baby, he's gonna be fine

Bree- ( crying) I hope so

Devin point of view.
I know this is a hard time for Bree,, because Kevin is like her best friend, and I'm trying to keep strong for her, but inside I'm all fucked up, kev was my bro and we basically grew up together, if he dies, I don't know what I would do with myself.

               Daniel point of view.
Seeing Kevin lifeless body killed me, blood ran threw my veins, I felt like our hole bro friendship was ending, I might haven't known Kevin as long as Devin has, but there my brothers, and if he goes, I go too.

            Bree point of view.
We had to wait in the waiting room while they did work on him, I stared at my fingertips, playing with them, I feel like my whole life ended when I saw Kevin like this.

Diamond- you okay Bree
Bree- ( whispers) I don't know

Devin- he'll be fine
Bree- and if he's not??

Devin- then we'll get through this

The doctor comes over to me.

Doctor- may we see you for a sec
Bree- of course

I walked away with her.

Bree- what is it
Doctor- Kevin is responding, he's a little weak, but he refuses to take the medicine without talking to you
Bree- me??

Doctor- yup
Bree- okay

I walked to his room with them as they close the door leaving us alone.

He looks at me and smiles a little, he was so pale.

Kevin- ( whispers) hey princess

His voice was so weak, I couldn't stand to see him like this.

Bree- why Kevin?? Why would you try to leave??

Kevin- ( whispers) i didn't know how to tell you this

Bree- tell me what

Kevin- ( whispers) I need you, I love you, I want you by my side, giving you all the finer things in life, making love to you, holding you, kissing you, I want that to be us, I asked them to bring you in here, because if I take this medicine and become my old self, what will happen to us

I feel tears coming down. He uses he thumb to wipe the tears.

Bree- I'm still Devins girl regardless, and I don't wanna our friendship Kevin, because of something stupid, I need you to take this medicine, because I need you in my life

Kevin- okay, I'll take, only for you

I kiss his cheek slowly. Before I leave I look back at him.

Kevin- I love you
Bree- ( looks down) love you too
