Samara hitched up her bags higher as she anxiously searched the dock. She stood on her toes and searched the crowds for zaravi. She looked over the heads of all the people who stood there hugging and saying the last minute good-byes. But zaravi was no where to be seen. Samara could hear the bell being blown, signaling that everyone was supposed to board the train. she was contemplating which weapon would be less messier when she would kill zaravi for missing the cruise, she better not leave her alone on this cruise. After all it had been zaravi's idea in the first place. She could practically hear her brother's disapproving thoughts. Samara cursed her best friend mentally, trying to telepathically sense where the hell she was. What was taking her so long? Zaravi was always the one for dramatic entries but even today? For one why couldn't she be on time. Samara knew exactly what she would say when she arrived. She would blame it on whoever would be the one dropping her off at the dock. Samara softly chuckled but then immediately stopped when she heard the second bell. This meant the ship was ready to pull out, if she didn't come now the cruise would be leaving any minute now.

Finally Samara saw the crazy jeep. Practically running over all the people standing on the dock. It cut through the crowd. It stopped abruptly and samara saw zaravi and her older sister Anahi jumping out. Zaravi grabbed her bags and started running over the deck. With at least three huge bags in her hand and a guitar she looked like a mad woman. Like a bull gone wild. Anahi was running behind her, carrying two more equally huge bags in her hands. She didn't stop once she reached me, She just went on running. And the third bell the final warning went off. This was my queue to also leave and catch up with her. Samara laughed as she watched her trying to balance all the weight and still keep up her pace. she yelled bye to her brother who was still muttering under his breath about irresponsibility and immaturity, with a quick peck on his cheek she ran for her life.

Samara had already checked in for herself and very cleverly for zaravi as well, so they didn't need to stop for any formalities. they reached the entrance of the ship just as it was being closed by the gaurds, zaravi winked at them and grabbed her other bags from her sister as she waved bye. They high fived each other and collapsed in fits of laughter as tears of relief flowed from their eyes. The gaurds standing there just shook their heads to show irritation but at the same time smiled softly. Their laughter was infectious.

Their dream was coming true! The dream of living off alone without constant supervision and rules. Even if it was for a month and a half. They felt giddy with excitement. It was finally happening.

KABIR'S POV

Kabir stood on the ship's deck looking down at all the people who were waving of their friends and family. Kabir sipped his drink and just grinned like an idiot. Though he went on this cruise every year since he could remember. He would always go with his family, but this year since his brother was born his parents werent going. This year kabir was making this trip with his friends. This cruise ship was the only ship that went to that one particular island that had captured his heart. It was very small island in the Arabian sea. This ship which had set off from Mumbai in india would take a very leisurely stroll through the Andaman Nicobar islands through that special island and then eventually reach Madagascar. From where they could take a flight back to india.

Kabir stood on the dock just lost in his own thoughts and just looking out towards the faces on the deck. Suddenly he was snapped out of his day dream by his the loud laughter around him. He saw all three of his friends laughing like hyenas, while looking down and pointing at a figure who was running through the crowd with bags and guitar loaded on her. She had a neon pink scarf tied on her head. Under it I could see the dark brown hair flying. I could tell that she had a perfect hour glass figure. Behind her were two more figures running towards the ship. It looked hilarious from up here. The way they were trying to get through the crowd to the ship. Mentally I started hopping that they make it, I don't know why but they just had to make it, it felt like a very important matter. I shook my head as I continued laughing along with my friends. When they reached the entrance I don't know why but I mentally did a happy dance.

I gulped down the rest of my drink and then started to make my way towards our suite. I had a feeling that this journey was going to be very interesting. A memorable one. A good one.
