Noctis & Tifa have suffered so many losses that they actually have a degree of survivorʼs guilt. This guilt leads them to think that they do not deserve something good to happen to them.
But then they meet and they both want each other. Itʼs the first time they want something so strongly and so ardently that they forget about that guilt.
