"Y'all ready to go?" Nichole asked.

"Yeah!" The team said in unison, causing her to smile.

"That's the spirit! Let's get outta here."

The group gathered their things and left the destroyed building. The cool morning air hit their faces as soon as they stepped out. At least the snowing stopped.

A chill still ran down Nichole's spine, prompting her to adjust her red coat. Those guys better be at the meeting spot as promised.

The group finished their mission a little earlier than expected but had to make an emergency pick up because Nichole and Arian were injured. The two had to make do with some expired medicine and bandages to make it through the night. And that was probably a bad idea since the two hunters started hallucinating.

On top of that, there was a strange noise that erupted from the forest. Lilac and Jack were scared but Nichole deduced it as a building caving in. Though, it sounded a bit "distorted" to sound like a building falling. She didn't want to dig deeper into the matter; she was exhausted, and there was no way a Grimm could have made that noise.

Still, Nichole couldn't shake off the feeling that she's forgetting something.

The five huntsmen stopped at the pick up point and as expected, there's no Bullhead. Nichole grumbled a couple of curses, setting her things on a rock to relax her arms. The others did the same, minus the cursing.

Lilac walked around in a circle before stopping to look at Nichole's weapon. She raised an eyebrow while advancing towards the weapon. The red huntress noticed this and shifted her body to cover a portion of the sword. Nichole knew that she meant no harm but it was a trained response.

Instead of getting offended, Lilac kept her distance while still eyeing the sword. It took a couple of minutes for her to kill the oncoming awkwardness.

"Hmm, I wonder," The purple huntress placed a finger on her chin. "How do you swing your sword so easily?"

The harmless question threw Nichole off, making her sheepishly step away from the weapon. Rarely anyone has asked her about Solstice's Edge. All they ever do is gawk at it or critique it. Nothing special.

To be fair, she acts the same way when it comes to everyone else's weapons. It wasn't a thing she really cared about. She only took up the "hobby" when Eddie wouldn't stop gushing over it. And since she's dragging around a broadsword for a weapon, it's inevitable that'll raise a few questions.

"I just do," Nichole shrugged. "There's no rocket science to it."

Lilac pursed her lips, thinking of the answer that was given. Despite hearing "there's no rocket science," she still did some mental math. Eventually, she shook her head, denying the answer. "Nah, that can't be right. There's no way you can swing that sword. It's definitely your semblance that's doing the heavy lifting."

Nichole tilted her head and sighed. She reached for Solstice's Edge, letting her fingers wrap around the hilt. When adjusted, she gave it one good squeeze before picking it up. It was a bit of a struggle because of her sore arm but she got it off the ground.

Lilac watched the short demonstration, still perplexed. "I still can't believe it." she murmured.

The red huntress sighed. It's a sword, not something extremely heavy. She tipped it towards Lilac with a knowing expression. "You want to give it a try?"

The energetic huntress looked at the weapon in question before grabbing on to the handle. She tried to lift it off the ground but it was too heavy. Her chainsaw couldn't compare to the weight of the blade.
