My Little Life

Chapter 1

Hello! My name is Daisy! I'm an energetic, fun ball of joy! This is a story of when I grew strong. And became a mature dog.
So, I live in a farm in Washington with my mom Kayla. My father Johnny and my older brother Bruce moved away and went to find a better life. I don't know where they are today, they could be dead. Let's hope not though. There was a specific year that was different then the rest, it was the year 2014. I moved schools, and I met a very sweet girl named Lizzy! Lizzy and I became best friends for life. We did absolutely everything together. Lizzy would always come over to my house when we were just in kindergarten. When I turned 17, which was 1 year ago, Lizzy moved in with me. She is 1 year older then me, so that means she is 18 so she can move out! We have known each other since we were in kindergarten! My mom allowed Lizzy to move in, because she knows that Lizzy is trustworthy and she could be a great helper for when my pet rabbit named Fluffers makes a mess... In summer of 2014, there was a camp called "TrainersCamp" which is for anybody 16-20 years old. I asked my mom if Lizzy and I could go, and she said yes! Me and Lizzy started preparing a month later, this will be a very long camp, it is for 30 whole days! Lizzy helped me pack, she's like an older sister to me. We still treat each other like we did in kindergarten. After weeks of packing, it was the night before we went to camp.
"Lizzy! I can't wait! Remember, if we pass? We will be able to move on the SoftClan! Which means after that, we can move to EzClan, then WarriorClan! I'm so exited!" I said to Lizzy.
"Yeah! I really wanna pass this year!!" Lizzy added.
We decided to have a sleepover tonight. And watch videos about how to behave. We will have to work harder then ever before! This is a real change for me. At least I will have Lizzy, she's a pro at camps, she's been to all different training camps. I'm sure she can help me if I need it. We stayed up until 3 in the morning. My mom came in the room and told us that we need to go to bed, after all, it's a long, busy trip tomorrow. I just wish my dad would have been here. He would have been so proud... And I really would have inspired Bruce... Well, I shouldn't let that bring me down! I need to stay strong, and I can do this! And I will pass, no matter what the cost. This is what I've dreamed of doing, being a loyal member in clans or camps. Now is my chance.

Lizzy and I got a good night sleep, my mom is helping us carry our bags of stuff into the back of the car. We have a really nice car, it's a limmo! And they are so awesome! We started to drive away. Lizzy and I were waving to our nice neighbors as we drive pass their houses. We exited our neighborhood. And we were driving for around 6 hours. I'm starting to get a little scared. I don't know how I feel being so far away from my mom and home. Well, I am going to be an adult in a year. So I need to do things myself sometimes. After all, this was my birthday wish. Me and my mom have a tradition for every year on our birthdays we get to wish for 1 thing. And I wished to go to this camp. After lots of driving, we arrived in the Dogeye Park. Which is where the camp is.

It's time to go! We are officially setting up our tents. My mom helped us. We set up our stuff in the tents, I don't think this will be that bad, will it? My mom gave Lizzy a hug and came over to me and kissed me on the cheek. My mom is proud of me to do this. I can't wait to start working! My mom left, and I went out to meet the other dogs here. I saw a dog over there, and he is a German Shepard. I was like, wow! He is so cute! Should I go introduce myself? I think I will tomorrow. I just need to settle in for now.
