Back to the Hotel Garden: The Gang Leaders' Friendly Banter
After the intense challenge, the gang leaders gathered once more in the serene garden of the hotel. The soft breeze rustled the trees, and the evening sun cast a warm glow, adding a calm after the storm of cooking. As always, the banter flowed easily among the group.
Karan leaned back against one of the stone benches, casting a playful glance at Tejasswi. "Well, well, Teja, I think we've officially out-cooked Prince this time. Maybe next time, we should give him a few cooking lessons on how to keep the dal from turning into a brick."
Tejasswi burst out laughing, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Oh, absolutely, Karan. But I think we should start with teaching him how to handle the puchka pressure. Did you see his face when we started assembling it? He looked like he was about to have a breakdown from the weight of those little puris."
Karan snickered, leaning forward with a playful glint in his eyes. "I swear, I was just waiting for him to ask for a chair. He looked like he might faint from the stress! But seriously, Teja, in terms of food and planning, no one can beat you. You've got the brains and the skills."
Tejasswi rolled her eyes dramatically but smiled. "Well, thank you for the compliment, Karan. But I think you deserve a shoutout for organizing the chaos so well. I don't think anyone else could've handled it quite like you did. You may be not the king of food prep, but when it comes to managing teams, you've got nothing on me."
Karan raised his hands in mock surrender. "Alright, alright, I bow down to your superior organizational skills. But hey, let's not get too cocky—we've got Prince and Ranvijay on the other side, and you know they're not going to give up so easily."
Tejasswi flashed a confident smirk. "Don't worry, Karan. We've got this. Their Kosha Mangsho was good, but I think we beat them on execution and timing. And let's not even talk about the puchka—ours were just perfection."
Karan winked at her. "You know, I agree, Teja. But I have to admit, their dal was impressive... just needed a little more water, and it could've been perfection. Guess we'll leave that lesson for next time."
As they laughed, they noticed Prince was watching them, a raised eyebrow the only sign of his amusement. He leaned in with a grin. "Don't get too comfortable, Karan. You and Teja may have won this round, but next time, we're coming for you. Watch out!"
Tejasswi laughed heartily. "Bring it on, Prince. We'll be ready. But, hey, no hard feelings, alright? We all know the real winner here was the food!"
Karan chimed in, his tone was mock-serious. "Yeah, and Prince? You've got to step up your puchka game, or you'll keep getting out-cooked."
Prince shot back with a smirk, "I'll take that challenge, Karan. But next time, I'm bringing my secret ingredient—and no, it's not just water for the dal!"
Tejasswi raised an eyebrow, leaning in with a teasing tone. "Well, let's hope it's better than just adding more water, Prince. Because your dal was... a little on the 'thick' side."
The group burst into laughter, even Ranvijay joining in with a hearty chuckle. "Prince, you've got a lot to live up to, my friend. But don't worry, we'll have your back next time. Just remember, teamwork makes the dream work."
Om, who had been quietly listening, couldn't resist adding his own playful jab. "Oh, trust me, Prince, next time you better bring something better than a secret ingredient. Maybe you need some of Tejasswi's organizational skills. I think even Ranvijay and I could use a lesson or two on how she keeps everything running smoothly."
