Uncle Vernon meant what he said about us moving away. He moved all of us into this tall house on a rock island somewhere out at sea. It was a stormy night and Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon were asleep on the bed upstairs while Dudley got to sleep on the couch, which left Harry and me to sleep on the cold and dirty floor. I was trying to sleep but I couldn't I had too much on my mind.
I was lying on the floor with my eyes closed and my back facing Harry when I heard "Harley, are you asleep?" Harry whispered to me
"No." I whispered back
"I can't sleep." Harry whispered
"Neither can I." I whispered
"You know what tomorrow is, right?" Harry asked
"Of course I do. It's our birthday." I said
I stayed silent for a few seconds"Harry? Do you ever feel like, this is not the place we're meant to be?" I asked
"Yeah, all the time. You feel like this is not our home." Harry said
"And not just because the Dersleys are daffed bimbos but because I feel like there's more out there, you know?" I said
"Yeah... I have a surprise for you." Harry said
"What?" I asked smiling a little bit
"Close your eyes." Harry said smiling
I covered my eyes with my hands and I stayed like that for a few minutes.
"Can I open my eyes now?" I asked
"Not yet." Harry said
"All right, now you can open them." Harry said
I uncovered my eyes and I saw that Harry drew a birthday cake in the dirt that said 'Happy Birthday Harry and Harley'.
"Wow!" I whispered
"I'm sorry it wasn't a real one." Harry said
"No, don't be silly. It's perfect. Thank you, Harry." I said giving him a hug
We pulled apart and I looked at Dudley's watch to see it turn 12:00 and it beeps.
"Happy Birthday, Harry." I said
"Happy Birthday, Harley." Harry said, "Let's make a wish." he said
Harry and I held hands as I closed my eyes making a wish. I wished that Harry and I could get out of this place and find where we truly belonged, to find the place we could call home. I opened my eyes then Harry and I blew out the "Birthday candles" on the drawn Birthday cake.
Suddenly there was a loud bang on the door, making Harry and I jump. And it wakes up Dudley and he sits up. The door banged again, and again. Dudley, Harry, and I jumped up. Harry pulled me to hide behind the wall with him. The door continued banging as Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon came downstairs holding a barrel gun.
Aunt Petunia turned on the light
"W-Who's there?!" Uncle Vernon asked
The door bangs again and it falls down on the floor and a giant man appears. The Dudleys scream, then the man walks into the house and the light shines on his face to reveal it was Rubeus Hagrid.
"Sorry about that." I heard a man's voice say
He put the door back up
"I demand you leave at once, sir! You are breaking an entering!" Uncle Vernon yelled at the man pointing the gun at him
The Man walked towards him and Aunt Petunia "Dry up, Dursley, you great prune." The man said bending the gun upward and it fired leaving a hole in the ceiling, Harry and I jumped from the loud noise
