I wake up, fluttering my eyes against the light shining through the window, feeling secure and safe in my mates arms.

I think back on the past months and feel awful for how I treated him...

Felix has done nothing but show me love and care since we met, even when I was hostile or a brat toward him...

I don't deserve him or his love...

All I'm good for is pushing people away...

I lay my hand on my still slightly bloated tummy with a sigh, thinking that we might have another responsibility in the near future.

I'm gonna be awful at this, I just know it...

"Baby, please don't think so poorly about yourself... you've been through a lot, and everything you've done is completely justified and understandable. You might seem cold and distant at first, but for those you care about, I know there's nothing in this world you wouldn't do for us. When you love, it's with all your heart, and I wouldn't trade you for anything in the world. Please don't put yourself down. We all love and adore you, and there's nothing we wouldn't do for you," Felix whispers into the quiet and still room, securely wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing the crown of my head.

"Thank you, angel. I love you so much," I whisper back, turning in his arms to face him and kiss his lips soft and slowly only to pull away with a shriek when the room door slams open.

"Wakey wakey bitches! You finally woke up after two days, and it's time for breakfast!" Ji yells, bursting through the door.

"Ji! For the love of God, you can't... wait, did you say two days?!" I start but cut myself off in exasperation and sit up abruptly, letting the sheet fall to pool around my hips, exposing my still bloated stomach.

"Yeah! Everyone kept checking on y'all periodically to make sure you were still breathing and everything! It's normal for a human to pass-out after a fuck like that but man did Felix have Mr. Axe really worried! But we determined it was part of y'alls bonding, I'm just happy we have Hyunlix back and don't have to deal with the Cold War anymore!" he says excitedly as he paces back and forth with his arms in the air.

I lower my head, ashamed of how I acted, and Felix sits up to rub my shoulders and neck.

"It's not your fault, baby. And Ji didn't mean it like that," he whispers, kissing my temple.

"I know..." I whisper back in a sigh, feeling calmed down by his touch.

"Hyun... I'm sorry. I really didn't mean anything by it," Ji says sadly, looking at the floor.

"It's okay. I'm just in my head a lot," I assure softly, giving him a gentle smile.

He looks up with a big smile, only for his eyes to widen and his mouth to drop open in shock.

He turns and closes the door gently, locking it, before he walks over and slowly sits on the edge of my side of the bed.

He hesitantly and shakily lays his hand on my bloated belly only to pull away quickly.

"You knotted him?!" Ji whispers in shock as he looks up at Felix with wide eyes.

"I didn't mean to... it was too late when I noticed what was happening," Felix whispers back shyly.

"You do realize what the fact that it didn't deflate by now could mean right?!" He whisper-yells, and I just nod with tears in my eyes as Felix pulls me into his arms.

"Yes... we both do," Felix whispers as he caresses my arm and back.

"What are you going to do? Hyunjin can't work like this. You'll have to tell everyone eventually. But only when you're ready, of course. And what about school? People are going to notice after six months of pregnancy. You do know a vampire whelp pregnancy can range from twelve to fifteen months, right?" Ji rambles off worriedly.

"Ji, breath. I'll have to stop work for the duration of the pregnancy, we'll tell the others when we are absolutely one hundred percent sure I'm pregnant, and if six months is when I start showing that's perfect. We only have a week of this semester left, and next semester is four months long, and that's what I've paid for so far, so I'll take a break from school after next semester and then jump back in when we are settled. And yes, the book you gave me 'Vampire Mates, Bonds, and Pregnancy's' was very descriptive," I explain calmly as I feel Felix sniff and nose at my neck before gently scraping his fangs along my scent gland causing my eyes to slowly roll back as I tilt my head to the side to give him more access with a soft approving moan slipping my lips.

As he sinks his teeth in, I relax completely into his hold, temporarily forgetting the conversation we were having and the prying eyes on us.

"Umm, okay... sounds good... I'm gonna go it seems like you two need some privacy... have fun," Ji says, sounding perplexed.

"I-I read about this... mhm... F-felix and I will be attached at t-the hip and very hungry and horny for a w-while because he knotted m-me whether I'm pregnant o-or n-not," I explain through breathy moans as Felix gropes my thigh and pinches my nipple.

"Ah, makes sense," Ji says, walking out, closing and locking the door behind him.
