Every demon that is or was preparing for the war knew/knows what is going to happen. A lot of well skilled demons and everyone knew if the most skilled demons die, then the angels will be will be a huge drop in the demonic probability of winning. Angels being victorious would be a nightmare. Demons would never be able to live again and they would never be accepted back into hell for what they have done in the past. Demons must win no matter what. "Shenzik, you are the root of this war and you must stay away from the battlefield as much as you can. With you, we have an unlimited supply of demons. We need that in order to have hope. I have faith that you will make us proud. You might even make it as becoming one of the leaders of the Demons." Shenzik started feeling like he betrayed his brethren. He has never fully yet mastered his power and now he has to supply the war with continuous demons? Shenzik knew that he had to confess. If he didn't, all of the Demons would never fully trust him ever again or worse, he would be sentenced to death for the lack of help in the war. "I don't mean to be rude, but I don't think I have enough power to supply enough demons throughout the war." The ancient was not very happy with this. He thought Shenzik was practicing and that was at least one month ago. With all of the continuous practice that he should have had, Shenzik should be able to supply Demons not only throughout the entire battle, but also be able to make Demons that towered above everyone and be extremely strong. "Shenzik, how have you not mastered your power? You have had plenty of time to practice. By this time with the training I put you in; you should have the skill mastered." Shenzik knew the ancient was right. Shenzik had his power figured out and he knew what he could do, so why didn't Shenzik have his power mastered? "I'm going to give you a chance to prove your worth when the war starts. However, if you can't prove your worth, you will be executed by me personally." With that, the ancient walked away and continued to play his part in preparation for the war, leaving Shenzik with only shame and the hope that he could pull this off.
